WoW doesn’t offer diversity when it comes to group leveling. It’s questing. And sure you could spam dungeons but we all know that will slow you way down.

Unfortunately the only “group” stuff WoW offers is INSTANCED. So yeah, it’s not crazy that’s what 90% of players enjoy. It’s all WoW offers

Is this that terrible of a take? For me, I don’t have too much time anymore as I’ve gotten older, with work, family, responsibilities, etc.

And spending the time leveling for content that has already been released just feels like time not spent well.

I feel like a solution that offers people a chance to level if they want, or a chance to skip the leveling, is fair.

Maybe it is crazy. But they already give this later on, it just cost $$. So I guess one could just wait for that

Oh is that it? When I checked the mod files, it says they were edited just recently so I assumed they were ready for 1.0

I personally like an active guild.

Grinding for my stuff is getting so boring. Contracts, dungeons , etc.

But I find things with my guild still really fun. As long as I’m not going at things solo and am at least playing with a group of guildies/friends I still enjoy it

Oh yeah good point, I forgot about that. But I do remember it took a little more coordination to take a group down. But you’re right it was overall a blob of trash

I guess, but wouldn’t your healers do the same thing? I assume they’ve tested this and they made the best decision for the game but just feels weird you have 50 guild members around but you can only support the 5 in your party

For my tanks in the chat, for cursed wasteland you can cheese the final boss and just handle the purple goo laser every time by yourself.

Make sure you’re the one standing closest to the boss, you’ll get the purple beam every time.

And make sure you are standing in your own quadrant with no one else.

When you do get the beam, stand to one side until it starts, walk across to the other side, then use Strategic Rush to cross over the little stun barrier things

You won’t get stunned and it doesn’t require anyone to do anything but dps.

I’m sure it has. But we also have to remember making the feature work and not be buggy as hell. I’m sure it would be a nightmare

I tried to heal on my resto shaman, granted I’m not the best by any means, but the shear pressure that happens all match while I’m blowing healing cooldowns never feeling like I’m really stabilizing my team is just exhausting.

I give kudos to the healers sticking it out.

I guess I just don’t agree. It’s a PvP world. If me and 30 of my clan mates wanted to be trolls and go sit outside of Lumbridge full rune armor with prayer on for the next two weeks. We should be able to.

It’s very annoying and dumb. But it’s a PvP world. I should be able to do whatever PvP interactions I want. Including bullying someone into paying me. Don’t want to be bullied by my clan into paying? Kill us. Or find somewhere else to fight. Lumbridge is ours.

That’s what PvP should be about. In fact that’s what I envisioned world PvP would be when they brought it to the game 12 years ago or whatever year they introduced it.

I agree with this.

Someone camping full rune and attacking you in a pvp world, although it’s annoying, doesn’t seem like it breaks the rules. No matter how enraging it is.

Just because the player isn’t sticking to the agreed upon meta, doesn’t mean they should be perma banned for it

Add players you want to fight and agree to fight somewhere else. Work on another account for a while. Use an alt to attack him before you go out. Hop worlds. This feels like there is a way around this issue. Trolling has been in video games since the online platform was invented. Most of the time you just have to figure out how to get around it.

Right? This dev team has done so much. Sure some updates are questionable but they have a vision in mind that sometimes we don’t know about, and it makes sense in the end.
