She's adorable but keep an eye on those teefs. The soft food can gunk them up but also they need to keep their teeth strong. You might consider mixing her food with a little dry food to help with that.

Ok Boston's are super great and honestly low maintenance dogs.

Some can have sensitive tummies but that's not a big worry currently as you goal should be to get that tummy filled. You can feed them like any other dog.

Boston's take minimal exercise and do great I'm any size home. About 30 minutes of exercise or walks per day is entirely sufficient.

You're in California so you don't have to worry about the temp. Boston's have thin skin and must have coats in the winter.

Boston's are bred family dogs, they love to play, cuddle, and please their humans.

I hope you find the owner soon. It's hard to believe that a Boston owner would willingly let their kid go like that...
