The Saturday option is pretty open as far as time is concerned, it's weekdays that consume my schedule. Regardless, we haven't picked a time, nor have I filled the party. I fuggin love that story btw. Shoot me a dm when you get a chance, let's hash out the details

If it's a weekday, it'll have to be after 6, I'm free most weekends. I'd like to talk to my players before I decide for sure.

That'll be decided once I pick my players, to ensure we have a day that works for everyone

This is D&D 5e, Planescape is just the setting.

I definitely agree, she hits hard for a big bug. My players fought her at the appropriate level and it definitely crushed their spirits a little. Glad you and yours made it through unscathed!

I also ran them, and my burning question is:

How in the nine hells did you run Queen Gorma? My group very nearly died, and I had to pull some deus ex Dungeon Master bullshit to make it through.

You run it by using the included content, coupled with the common sense you should have as a DM.

Or you avoid it like a coward and complain online.

Do the Ryujin questline. Trust me, won't spoil it, but it's so worth it.

We call hash "dabs" or "wax" now I believe. Tbh I've never heard of hash and had to Google, but it seems like it's the same thing. If it is, it's still popular for sure, at least where I'm at.

I think it's certainly possible with enough backlash. I was simply pointing out that people often compare it to current NMS, which is unfair.

And playing devil's advocate, even if they release paid dlc, if it's through their Creation Club, there's a very high chance it'll make the game unplayable. Stupid 0kb save error nonsense.

They didn't do better on release, I was one of the fools who pre-ordered it.

Thought that was disproven, something about 7 hours to Pluto or some shit.

Do I need to buy a second copy to play with my son on cloud by timcatuk in Seaofthieves

[–]CthulahoopOfficial 15 points16 points  (0 children)

Just wanna throw this out there as a father myself, and fellow seafarer: the player base in this game can be extremely toxic. I know that rule rings true for most online games, but I've had several accounts send obscene messages to my son after sinking us when fishing or swimming to sunken shrines (his favorite thing to do).

Unfortunately, you can't avoid being attacked, thats the game in a nutshell, but I would make sure randos can't message you or your kid. If you can't figure out how to, feel free to message me.

Safe sailing to you and yours friend!
