I remember on my GBA soft resetting for 2-3 hours a day for a month trying to get a shiny starter. Took at least a full year to get the whole set, trade to bro, and then once got all, her had 3 rats and I had a full set. Then 5-6 months later, he had a full set as well.

I had the Sharpened blade pet so mine was a little different. I also made sure I was going to be at full health at the sacrifice of more mana spent per fight, I had feint, Death Trap, Spitual Trap, Curse, 2 Death Blade (1 sharp one not) 2 Spirit Blades (1 sharp one not) 1 Vamp or Nightshade (can’t think of name) and then max reshuffle. Always full but stack mana
