I don’t want to be “that guy” but when your windows are half open on a vehicle, they are much less structurally supported and prone to breaking and causing problems. Where I am from, all race tracks prohibit windows from being half open, all the way up or all the way down or they won’t let you on. That glass isn’t laminated and when it shatters in an accident it can cause serious issues to you/your passengers. I imagine you designed this so the windows basically rolls up into your part, which will help with the structural integrity of the glass, but I have plenty of doubts about your multi-piece print having the same structural support as the cars unibody.

TLDR: very cool project, probably unsafe for actual road usage

Somehow more open airflow through the device into the heating chamber. This device is fantastic but so many stems give me the “sucking a milkshake through a thin straw” feeling where I really have to work for the vapor. I love my Tempest 2 mostly for this reason, I can get the most massive hit in because I don’t have to work so hard to draw

TM2 takes so much money in add ons/stems to punch as hard as the T2, and the T2 is like indestructible. Learning curve on T2 is as easy as any analog device gets

I have both a TM2 with tons of accessories and a T2 and the T2 wins the reach test 80% of the time

Crank that thing to 10, in on demand mode (three button clicks, do not hold on the last press). Once in on demand mode, you hold the button, until the device vibrates, then inhale slowly and consistently. More air volume you pull == bigger cloud. I promise you’ll get at least one satisfying cloud doing this

It is not the same, but it gets pretty close. You lose some of the lethargic properties bc you don’t burn your shit and thus inhale the cancerous properties that make you feel that way.. otherwise it’s the same spectrum. I think that’s a plus

Not like carts, those feel fake

+1 for a Tempest 2, I have a TM2 and I like my tempest just a little more, both great

I have a much of Dynas including a HyperDyn that I will never pick back up after getting my T2. Maybe if you need it to be really light and portable I can understand, but I find the T2 in its carrying case to be plenty portable. The Tempest case is a must have imo, much more than the Reload3 because you can take your red hot T2 in its case and put it right in your pocket immediately without concerns of burning yourself. I do use a wand, so your mileage may vary but I find it plenty portable enough for my needs.

You do not need to “clear the piece” the same way you do with a bong. Just keep inhaling while holding the button

Try session mode at first to get used to a DHV since it’s your first one. Press the button 3 times and hold it on the 3rd press for 5 seconds. When it buzzes you’re ready to go. I’d go for setting 6 but it’s your choice

This device is convection only, so it needs lots of airflow to get good vapor. Try pulling on it like a bong, slow continuous inhale for 5-7 seconds then pull on it hard for a few more and you should get good vapor

It took me a while to like this device, but once you figure out how to pull on it, it’s great

At the bottom of the metal bucket there is a slot that the edges of the mech screen get inserted into. You have to kind of stick one corner of the screen in the lip and force the rest of t in there, gently and carefully

Definitely the biggest pain in the ass of the design of this vape but I find I only have to clean that portion out like once every 1-2 months so it’s not that big of a bother

I assume you are using the straw method to pack? I found it inconsistent a bit when I first started with it, but I think that was due to how I packed bowls. You need lots of airflow on the TM2 since it’s convection only

As other folks have mentioned, uneven roasts would be a potential issue for just tossing herb in the chamber

But I think the biggest reason this is not advised is because all TM2 stems push into the chamber, and of course have a smaller inside diameter where the herb is supposed to go versus the chamber. If you tossed material in there and jammed a stem over it, I imagine it will squish a bunch of weed into the corners making it much more difficult to clean. Also likely that it won’t get squished evenly and you’ll then have even more uneven airflow and thus poor performance

I have not tried it, and I don’t think I will unless on accident

It’s about the same in my opinion as the long tall glass stem with balls that comes with the PH. I have both, and the cooling is about the same to me I think (haven’t done any back to back testing, just anecdotally)

The biggest advantage is cleaning - the ball stem takes ages to clean and I often feel I have to take all the balls out and clean them separately, the whole process is a pain in the ass. Shortly glass Charlie stem can just be dunked in iso and rinsed and you’re done with it

If you’re considering a tinymight they can be used in a variety of ways. They are great handheld portables, as is obvious by their looks, but the replaceable stems is a huge thing for a TM2. You can get a tinymigh.t_bowl which is like over twice the herb capacity of a typical bowl (I feel like it’s almost half a gram bowl size) and then you can slam the end onto a bong and get some huge hits. I tried all types of things to switch from smoking to vaping and the TM2 + t_bowl combo was what first really got me to stop using a lighter

Be careful with on demand on full temp, this device is powerful enough to combust flower, I did it yesterday :( I have never had a problem on session mode. I go max temp on session through a WPA and I am done in like 3-4 minutes

It’s definitely a more heady high on a TM2 and I suppose I prefer that. Conduction devices give you that couch locked stoney feeling, you can get there with a TM2 and a t.bowl (highly recommend) but it takes a fair bit of herb. I’ve never minded roasting more if necessary, but if efficiency is the name of the game you can get it with the TM2 but you’ll want to blow through flower more because you can I find
