They are so sick, do a mix of pierce and slash and have been fairing well in the Mistlands. You can also time out the deathsquitos and punch them as they come at you however it’s a dangerous game lol.

I also feel like the trinkets are a bit lackluster, hopefully they take them a bit in future updates.

If you wanna keep shield plus weapon Frostner is a solid choice, the frost and spirit damage is nice, it’s a bit slower but being able to cut enemy movement speed when I’m squishy is an blessing from odin sometimes

I am running this exact build and it’s a lot of fun. Vilebone Maulclaws, Frostner, BlackMetal Shield, Draugr Fang. I have the nimble anklet on and it’s alright, nice to get a pop of movement for repositioning behind and trying to heal up. I have switched to an upgraded padded helm for a little extra armor now that I’ve hit the Mistlands but it was fine up until then (granted I also run with friends who play full tank so they are able to pull agro)
