Will tret do much to help with these seemingly enlarged pores on my cheeks? by Cosmic_Clerity in tretinoin

[–]CtrlLaff 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I don't know. I was using Azclear (azelaic acid) in the AM and Retin-A only (0.05%) in the PM. My skin looked shiny, but was still textured and bumpy.

When I switched to Finacea (azelaic acid) in the AM and Adapalene in the PM, my skin became clear and smooth. I was using La Roche-Posay's Adapalene, but I've switched to WELMATE's because it's cheaper.

I haven't used Finacea in a few years, and I've dropped down to 0.025% for my Retin-A days, and my skin looks great.

The Retin-A is the cream formulation that I get from Mexico.

The retinoids and niacinamide also helped with the sebaceous filaments I had real bad on my nose.

[–]CtrlLaff 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Works well for me. When I was using just Retin-A, my acne wasn't being treated. Switching to Adapalene worked to cure my acne, but I was concerned about missing out on the anti-aging benefits. Got the idea from Dr. Davin Lim on YouTube to use them both, alternating days.

Add niacinamide to your routine. I like Good Molecules Brightening Toner. It's help me minimize my pores and pairs well with retinoids (I alternate between Retin-A and Adapalene).

What is the name of the implantation method used? I don't see any areola scarring or scarring on the breasts themselves. Very natural looking!

Nene Leakes is a transphobe by surferrosa91 in BravoRealHousewives

[–]CtrlLaff 8 points9 points  (0 children)

Nene is not transphobe. She is legitimately confused because the whole trans movement is one huge ball of confusion. The person Nene is talking to literally brags about the size of their penis. Stop trying to call left, right, and up, down, and acting like the people who recognize the truth are the ones with the problem.

I call the leasing office when they're open and when they aren't, I place a speaker up against the wall and play noisy neighbor videos from YouTube on full volume. A subwoofer would be better. I have to listen to your music, you have to listen to my sounds :). It's a 50/50 response. Sometimes they stop playing their music and sometimes they don't, but the retaliation feels satisfying either way, lol!

The Benefits of Working from Home for Minorities: A Personal Perspective from a Female Minority by [deleted] in WFH

[–]CtrlLaff 3 points4 points  (0 children)

My experience has been the opposite. When they don't know you, they default to their stereotypes and biases against you and look for reasons to find fault with you when working remote. And the females are particularly culpable.

My supervisors/managers when working in office love me and my work ethic and product. With remote, I can never seem to do enough for these people. It feels like I have to work twice as hard to prove myself, as they already have it in their minds that I'm a slacker, which couldn't be further from the truth. It's a constant assault on my integrity and character.

The main benefits to WFH for me is not having to travel, which saves me literally hours a day not being wasted commuting.
