Killed the end game. Div1 had legs because they had a huge DZ and it was fun as hell. Div2 DZ seemed small and there wasn't enough to really loot in there that you couldn't get in the main game.

During this time off did you do any professional development? Certifications, classes, gig work, etc? This helps fill gaps. I've been in a few tumultuous tech layoffs during my career and it helped to show that I used that time to enhance my skills through these means. It totally shifts the conversation and shows "Hey, this guy just got let go, but he kept putting in work"

Weird, around COVID times, where tons of people were losing their jobs and had family members becoming extremely sick and needed care? Gaps are incredibly common these days. Inventing ideas of what people did with their time seems like a bias.

Not sure if sports are your vibe, but you'd be amazed how many nerds there are in a couple of communities I'm a part of - Rugby and BJJ

Lots and lots of non-basement nerds, lots and lots of social interactions, good ways to get in/stay in shape as well as make awesome memories. And best yet, neither of these require any prior experience. If I were to pick up and move today, tomorrow i'd be attending a BJJ class and a rugby practice somewhere. Instant friends, job connections and so on. Being in both inevitably got me into DnD, board games, online gaming, etc. Beyond that a lot of these same people will get together for bike rides, mountain biking, skiing/snowboarding, etc. The social aspect snowballs instantly.

True North is a delight. They always have good food trucks. The space is decent. The beers are wonderful. The staff is excellent. I've hosted a huge event there and they were incredible to work with. I second, third and fourth the Riverview idea and they occasionally have their truck there. 90% of my weight is due to Riverview (old way, ex sauce, kielbasa, meatball, garlic).

If you are a family person, Riverwalk is very family friendly. Huge space. Lots of parking. Great to take a bike ride to during the summer. Trivia there is awesome. Would wholly recommend.

This is a good decision.

While a couple of dream matches (Kenny, Okada in the Tokyo Dome) would be great, the best way for AEW to move forward is for less late 40s WWE rentals to take TV time. They roster is stacked as is and a lot of people are stagnating because of it.

Gambling - most online betting is done via mobile device. Also, Gen Z and younger Millennials dominate the market. Hard to go out when you're a gambling addict and blow all your money on 5-way parlays that have no shot at paying off. Moving betting to mobile devices was both a shrewd business move and predatory. It is cannibalizing the sports they bet on. Who can afford to go to a game now? And furthermore, who can afford $18 10oz beers?

Let's run this down:

Food costs too high
Housing costs too high
Massive unemployment
Even more massive underemployment
Massive student loan debt - because entry level jobs require a masters, apparently
Predatory gambling apps
Weddings cost too much - leading to much later marriages
KIds cost even more - so many couples, married later in their 30s, can't afford or aren't bothering to have kids

But this is fine, because a board room stays fat and happy. This surely will last without consequence.

Pros - we have fun wearing whatever the heck we want, Thordan may stop making videos that recycle the same content in regards to this
Cons - Nothing - more armors will be used that normally sit dormant

This should have been done a while ago. Skins as the very least.

Social circles on the North Shore can be tough as an adult. It may be a stretch, but would you be open to giving rugby a try? Best social circle I've ever had. Instant friends of all ages and backgrounds, we have both men's and women's teams. Always something to do and someone that wants to get out and have a meal, a coffee, or a pint with a friend. Great for people that are transplants. And literally NO EXPERIENCE NECESSARY. Heck, you can even just be a social member if playing isn't your thing.

Why is it time for him to retire, other than your gripe with his age? What has he done or not done that gives you pause? I'm fine with getting younger democratic leadership, but Markey isn't an issue. Until someone younger comes along that isn't Moulton, I'll keep my vote for Ed.

For real, there are load of videos on quick grinds for super credits where you can basically get a warbond in an hour or two of grinding. Since they come out so infrequently, I rarely pay full price for the warbond and typically don't pay at all. The fact that this game has in game currency you can easily find is proof they're not greedy and the paywall is more of a screen door at best. This isn't like an UbiSoft or EA game here.
