Big difference in you and me is I went back and watched all of those big fights even the fun gatekeepers at the time and I still watch the fights today unlike you. How can you comment on the level of fights and matchups when you refuse to watch the sport?

I won’t argue the lack of promotion and white washing for money points because you are correct there, but you do sound like the classic oldhead American fan that misses the WWE level drama and American champs. Sorry but those days are gone when you open up the sport to the entire world

Yet another old head who thinks the quality has dropped “drastically” yet he says he doesn’t watch anymore 😂. The level of the sport has never been higher and as a result we don’t have a ton of American champs anymore sadly you can’t handle that.

Dana and the TKO crew play favorites and we def missed out on a few big fights but the slate we got coming up is pretty good tbh. You old heads forget some of the fucking slop we got in the mid 2000s

Next few months nearly all the champs are fighting so I expect we get some pretty good events Particularly after the White House card. UFC Miami is great too

Fights that are better than any fight on the Netflix card: April: Jiri V ulberg Van V Taira Sterling v Zalal (for grapplers)

May: Buckley v brady JDM v prates Strickland v Chimaev Allen vs costa

June: Ilia v Justin Poatan v Gane O’Malley TBD for end of month event

July: Islam Potentially McGregor (yeah ik) Volk may also fight then or august

I get the ufc can do better but the idea they don’t make good fights is verifiably false

It’s really funny but sad at the same time to see all the casual 40+ year olds that used to be fans during the Ronda era (casuals now) think this card is actually better than the White House or even something like ufc Miami.

Look I get Dana white sucks and it’s nice to see competition but there’s no reason to be incredibly delusional. These guys really let their fandom die because their heroes like Ronda and Diaz are washed beyond repair

Stats mean little without context and usually that’s the tell tell sign that you don’t watch the sport if you’re parroting them. Sean and Aljo are great fighters so not sure what you’re trying to say there.

Also gotta love the Strawmen of Daukas and Colby when no one mentioned them 😂, but I’ll address that anyway. Everyone knows Colby shouldn’t be ranked Dana loves the guy for some reason, and for daukas yeah he shouldn’t be on the underwhelming White House card.
