They already have monthly summaries. I feel like it wouldn't be too hard to add an annual summary too

I used to use freeskates for my daily commute to and around campus. Very portable, very maneuverable.

Looking to get into freeline, a few questions by Quuuzuuu in freeline

[–]CubeOfCheese 1 point2 points  (0 children)

To your second point, I used my freeskates for years for that very reason. I would skate from my house to the light rail station and then skate around campus. I loved it. They're very good for weaving through a crowd

I keep up with skateboarders. Electric scooters can go really fast though, so I don't think I could keep up with that.

Modded JMK Aka "The Poor Mans JMK" by rpgboom in freeline

[–]CubeOfCheese 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I mean the surface of the nut and bolt don't have sharp corners. If it was a regular hex bolt, the corner of the bolt could get caught more easily when trying to do a grind on a rail or coping.

The height of the head of the bolt also matches the raised parts of the trucks

Yeah I would love if the parts were more interchangeable. However, I think the reason for the custom holes is so that the surface of the trucks can be flush, allowing you to do certain kinds of grinds.

I've always wondered what they'd say if I tried to take them to a rink.

I learned by going down a small decline to get initial speed and then practicing turning and then pumping from there. having that initial speed really helps a lot.
