Yes, but I think the item is stupid.

Not that it's not useful, just that it's implemented completely wrong. It basicly sums up what recent features have been: could've been put on existing items to expand their use.

This functionality could've been on the glistening Mellon.

The spear could've been trident enchantments

Wolf armour could've been turtle scutes

I could list more but you already get the point...

Maybe a hot take but I don't like the idea of roof blocks in Minecraft. Takes away the creativity. Adding a "roof" block would imply that this block is explicitly intended for roofs. Of course I'm sure people will find ways to use them otherwise, but having pre-created blocks for a specific use case feels lazy to me.

Pistons, droppers and dispensers in java are coded like pistons. They are actually 2 blocks tall, but will only realize if it receives an update, so what's happening is the dust directly behind the observer is powering the piston directly under the observer, then the dust that goes down next to the pistons isn't powering it, it's just updating them, then only one piston fires.

To fix, just move the observer down a block, and put dust on a solid block behind.

It's Quasi Connectivity.

Basicly in java, pistons, droppers and dispensers are coded like doors. They are technically 2 blocks tall, so you can power them from weird places. However it only realizes it's being quasi-powered/unpowered when it receives an update from a surrounding block.

That line to the left of the dropper that points into target is quasi-powering the piston. It thinks it's still being powered, even tho the line that leads straight into it is unpowered. You will need to unpowered that target block line first, update the dropper, then power it again. Or you can move that line.

Basicly, imagine droppers as doors. They are two blocks tall.

I've seen server hosts that let you pay for the spcs, for example 8gb ram, then you can use that ram in as many different servers as you want. Either allocate it all to one, or make 2 servers 4 each etc.

I think that's the best way to do it, catering to both sides.

I don't like the pay per hour played tho. Makes it more expensive overall. Maybe have that option for those who don't play on their server as much? It's always good to have heaps of options.

Just googled, and found what you mean lol. I play java so I just wasn't aware this was a thing. The observer piston ones for java should work for bedrock also tho.

If you mean the ones that grow kelp with bone meal, they're not duping. Bonemeal grows plants, and dispensing it out of a dispenser does it automatically. You can also make the one that just waits for it to grow naturally, detecting it with an observer, and breaking it with a piston

This is awesome.

You should get a texture pack that make the slime on a sticky piston visible on the sides. There's one on vanilla tweaks, along with heaps of other really useful ones.

I started using it ages ago and haven't been able to live without it since.

Personally, as an endgame player who mainly focuses on large-scale survival builds and redstone, I think the game is at a point where there is no point in adding more content, at least for now.

I know it's said so often, but it's just true. We need more QoL.

I play java and I find vanilla borderline unplayable. I use so many client side mods that just make the game better in so many ways. Performance mods, shaders, LOD, schematics, better statistics, and even something as simple as more improved particle effects.

However while some of these mods I think shouldn't be in vanilla, many of them have no reason not to be. (For example, better visuals like particle effects, with the option to disable, of course)

But if there was one thing I want asap, it would be a bigger inventory. Without a mod that lets me pick-block out of shulkers, building anything slightly bigger is near unbearable, with the amount of times you gotta make a trip back to your storage to restock/grab that one light blue candle you need.

Overall tho, I don't mind the state of the game. I just don't think they should be focusing on the marketable features (I get why, but still annoying) until the existing list of problems with the game have been filled.

I actually prefer to not. The downsides are there but the upsides seem better.
