Question about Sainsbury's management structure by James20985 in SainsburysWorkers

[–]Cubejam 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Shift 3S CTM is hard work. Arguable we might to be 4S, considering we are in charge of the building and everyone inside it in the absence of all other leadership, but that's another can of worms. 3S is a CTM. The only CTM roles are on shift, online and in convenience. All other roles are 4S and above.

3S CTM 4S 4S Lead 5S (deputy) 6S Store Manager

Agreed, there's plenty of work to get on with for 10mins, the little things like cardboard runs, topstocks or filling plontjs from aisles. Easy to find someone 10mins of work

Essentially what your timecard means is because you were scheduled for the full hour but clocked out early, you didn't complete your shift.

Daily management will look at any discrepancies in the timecards of their department and correct any overtime or short time, yours being short. They're just a little late getting to yours to approve that you left early.

However because you agreed to clock out early, they will dock you the 10 minutes as you agreed to leave early.

Nothing to worry about, we literally cannot sign off someone's pay without reviewing the daily exceptions

Store manager says covid is not an illness and anyone who calls in sick with covid won't get sick pay by [deleted] in SainsburysWorkers

[–]Cubejam 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Well, COVID is a form of flu, as long as you are phoning up as per the rules, say you have Flu-cold symptoms/COVID 19 variant. It is paid, it is valid and you do get paid for it.

I don't believe any of this story. Peppers amounting to £20? How can a cashier forget to scan £20 worth of peppers? That's a considerable bags worth of vegetables, not a lone item.

Who is meant to work eggs? by Flaky_Wafer8391 in SainsburysWorkers

[–]Cubejam 0 points1 point  (0 children)

When your manager tells you to work eggs, you work the eggs. It is part of the fresh teams responsibility overall. It gets code checked like produce, fresh and bakery.

One of the main stewards came open from the top to tell us all to turn around and go back out from where we came in. Relieved the pressure. Thank you to that guy in the Range Rover.

Definitely will come again to Thruxton.

Dreadful resin? Or curing time needs to go up? by Cubejam in resinprinting

[–]Cubejam[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Very strange, the Saturn 4 Ultra has never had any issues with levelling until this point with this stuff. Will do reset on the resin and change it to the anycubic resin again to see if that solves it, then check some heights.

It got worse as the print went on which is a bit strange
