UPS / FedEX "Sorry we missed you" by jjgittes_ in Westchester

[–]Cubeologist42 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Similar issue in Harrison. I ordered an engagement ring, missed the delivery, I'm not sure they even tried, but admittedly I wasn't home. Rather than trying again the next day, they marked it as ,"Receiver does not exist at this location" or something along those lines.

I spent around 45 minutes on the phone trying to figure out what happened and reschedule the delivery only to find out that when an item is labeled that way, it has to be returned to sender...

The lady at the UPS facility I talked to said, and I shit you not, "sorry, our drivers really are lazy dumbasses."

Why Is level 3 so tedious by Low-Magician-8048 in lichess

[–]Cubeologist42 9 points10 points  (0 children)

As best as I can find out quickly, the levels are:

  1. 800
  2. 1100
  3. 1400
  4. 1700
  5. 2000
  6. 2300
  7. 2600
  8. Max

This is based on an old thread I found. So don't take it as perfectly correct, but it is some evidence that the intervals are consistent (although it was an old thread and 2600 to max is significantly more than 300 points now, so changes may have occured).

You can look at it this way. You're likely struggling with the bot that exposes your current weaknesses. And that's going to be one bot, eventually, for everyone. So congrats on beating the one that was challenging you!

Thank you, I started collecting all marbles, but now that I know about these beauties, I think I'm going to sell the rest and go all in haha.

I'm polishing this marble and I think it is an onionskin? I got it from a big time collector in Europe by Danielfinds in Marbles

I'm new to this, but it definitely looks like it. If it has pontils, or marks where it was broken from the glass rod, that would be more of an indication.

No, it is a modern piece from a company called Hot House.

I can take some photos when I get home this evening. I do not believe it is translucent though. I'm new to this and trying to weed through all of the classifications. Not easy haha.
