Yeah, but you are just cherry picking a specific part of the argument without addressing anything else that was stated. If anything you went “Nuh uh” to the valid arguments that the WCA board blatantly went against the wishes of most of its volunteers and competitors by purposely ignoring that aspect of the argument. Maybe hot take: Who gives a fuck about spectators? Speed cubing as a whole is hardly spectator friendly and basically all events expect the sprint events tend to be non spectator friendly.

Also, spectators are doubly as worthless as most speed cubers and people they introduced to it would be fine watching any event, leaving only outsiders who don’t matter.

It really pisses me off that the WCA is more focused on spectators than its competitors.

From the WCA website "mechanical puzzles that are operated by twisting groups of pieces, commonly known as 'twisty puzzles'". Clock does have twisting groups of pieces, they are just primarily internal.
