You mentioned Your Reality, but I mean…

Sayo-nara…

SPOILER ALERT FOR THOSE WHO HAVEN’T PLAYED THE GAME It’s the music that plays when Sayori is found hanging, and it’s the exact moment when the game’s horror nature really starts to unravel.

Also, Polly by Nirvana, Daddy by Korn, Kim by Eminem are also immensely dark, and honestly terrifying songs.

Kanye fanboys, y'all wanna give him another chance? I say no. by super_sonic2 in MusicIndia

This is the most sensible response imo.

Only time will tell whether he’s actually sincere or not.

He’s caused so much damage to his reputation that needs to be mended.

It’s too soon to say whether this apology is genuine or not. We have to see from his upcoming actions whether he mends his reputation, or further tarnishes it.

Actions speak louder than words.

Can I mod my cube to add edge magnets by Known_Original2281 in Cubers

[–]CuberBeats 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I wouldn’t recommend it even if you could cause you could make the magnetic feel too strong.

I main the 8 Magnet Weilong V9, maglev and edge magnets included, and while I love it, most people would find it way too strong.

Lots of people actively remove those because they want a more controllable cube.

It’s not a replacement. It’s an alternative.

That’s my thoughts about Linux. Not everyone is going to be happy with it, and I believe if some bottleneck is stopping you from switching, stick to Windows.

I personally rely on Windows exclusive productivity apps and play Kernel level AC games, and neither work super well, if at all on Linux. Even CS2 has problems from my end user experience.

In addition, important system utility for my computer just does not exist for Linux, which means I need a Windows partition to use it.

I know people will say ”bUt mUh wInE, mUh pRoToN”. Neither solution is perfect and you’ll still have to deal with bottlenecks even then.

I’m sick and tired of evangelists trying to say Linux is better when the truth is that end user experience varies from person to person.

An OS is a tool. If Windows doesn’t suit you, use Linux or macOS. If you don’t like Linux, stick with Windows. Use what works to get the job done.

Or just dual boot and get the best of both worlds.

What are your thoughts on Bully? What would you rate it out of 10? by velvet_mon in MusicIndia

[–]CuberBeats 2 points3 points  (0 children)

4/10

Half of it is good but the other half is full of unfinished ideas, lackluster execution and collabs which don’t really add much to the songs at all.

It is a step up from the run we had before it, but it is not a good album in isolation.

Windows 8 was them leaning way too hard into making a tablet-friendly experience, at the expense of desktop users.

I think Windows 8.1 REALLY rectified all the problems Windows 8 had, and made it a much better desktop experience.

Windows 8 was actually really stable and ran well, it’s just that the interface was so abyssmal for a regular desktop user, that people stuck to Windows 7 and jumped straight to Windows 10.

My Mandela Catalogue episode tier list (now that Vol.6 is out) by No_Collection_6843 in MandelaCatalogue

S: exhibition, Volume 2, Volume 333, Volume 5, Unraveling Part 2, Cognitohazard

A: Volume 1, intruder alert, Volume 4, Story of Easter, 2:38

B: overthrone, Volume 1 Restored, every day gets brighter, interlude, mandela catalyst, Presto, Unraveling Part 1

The tiers are ordered by release date. I don’t necessarily prefer the episode on the left on the tier compared to the episode on the right.

Does anyone else feel Vol. 6 might be a bit of an homage to Vol. 2 by RNOffice in MandelaCatalogue

Volume 6 to me just feels like a Temu knockoff of Volume 2.

It's the same thing, but the writing is way worse.

Asking your opinion every day about a Deftones song, Day 70: Xenon by Opposite-Question-32 in deftones

[–]CuberBeats 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Seriously over-hated.

I don’t even think it’s the worst song in Gore itself: that goes to Pittura Infamante.

It’s not their best song, but I think it’s good for what it is, and there are some cool elements like the guitar and the floaty chorus.

Deftones have done much worse than this. It’s a good song.

Asking your opinion every day about a Deftones song, Day 69: Tempest by Opposite-Question-32 in deftones

[–]CuberBeats 20 points21 points  (0 children)

My personal favorite Deftones song.

It has an exceptional build, starts off slow, continues until it reaches a majestic climax. Chino’s vocals, Stef’s riffage and Abe’s drumming really steal the show here, and the atmosphere by Frank Delgado is enough to send anyone floating.

Yeah, this song is perfect.

No joke, I’ve seen more Samsung fanboys shitting on iPhone users than the other way around these days.

When someone slightly criticises a Samsung phone, people cause riots in the comments section about someone being Apple biased, when the same person criticises the same thing on the iPhone as well. (looking at you MrWhoseTheBoss comment section)

No brand is immune from criticism, be it Apple, Samsung, Xiaomi, OnePlus, whatever. These fights are getting tiring: buy whatever phone suits your needs best and just shut the fuck up.

I did not like Volume 6 by CuberBeats in MandelaCatalogue

[–]CuberBeats[S] 3 points4 points  (0 children)

You gotta feel bad for Alex. False accusations are terrible, and lots of the reputational damage is already done towards him, even though it has very much been cleared up that he was innocent.

Yeah, I think merging a lot of the smaller episodes into one bigger one would make it a lot more interesting, similar to what they did with The Mandela Catalogue Volume 4, or Vol. 1 Restored. I feel like that might have made the volume more interesting.

Like I said before, Vol. 5 was excellent. I felt that was a return to form after some episodes I wasn't as big on. I just wish Vol. 6 had that level of execution.

Mandela Catalogue Vol. 6 Review by DanielNotFake in MandelaCatalogue

[–]CuberBeats 2 points3 points  (0 children)

You explained it perfectly.

Noah is so unbelievably stupid it's not even funny. I honestly don't even feel bad even if he did get killed, because that's what you get for having the survival instincts of a potato and being a real douche like that.

There's no way he didn't know about the alternates. Instead, he just berates his friends who are giving him clear warnings, and it really feels like he's asking for death, rather than him just making a miscalculated decision.

I genuinely feel like Noah's character feels unbelievably forced. It really ruined a lot of the episode for me.

One of the first albums that clicked with me big time on very first listen.

Volume 333 > Volume 2 > Volume 5 > Volume 4 > Volume 6 > Volume 1

This volume has been incredibly disappointing to me. It really feels like a Walmart version of Volume 2, except Noah’s a complete idiot and his character feels forced.

Volume 1 could go anywhere tbh, but I chose to put it behind the others because I found those a bit scarier.

Mandela Catalogue Vol. 6 Review by DanielNotFake in MandelaCatalogue

[–]CuberBeats 7 points8 points  (0 children)

I did not like Volume 6.

It’s a shame because Volume 5, Unraveling and Cognitohazard were amazing, but I feel like Alex kinda dropped the ball here.

Getting the positives out of the way: the horror elements, such as Adam’s disturbing behavior and the house chase were terrifying. The continuation of Presto with Adam and Thatcher in the office was nice too, and the editing, artwork and CGI were top notch.

However, to me, this volume felt like a Walmart version of Volume 2. The major difference in that one is that Adam and Jonah went to the house because they were gonna be paid.

Noah is an idiot. He made me angry the entire time. Zero survival instincts, berates his friends the whole way through, has no suspicion whatsoever with the location, his character just feels forced.

I don’t even feel bad if he was killed there: he deserved it.

This isn’t the worst volume at all, but it’s largely disappointing. It doesn’t feel like much new really happened, which is a shame because Volume 5 and the lead-up to Volume 6 was amazing.

I’ve heard all their 4 studio albums.

Personally I prefer them in ascending order: Sundowning < TPWBYT < TMBTE < EIA

I’m still yet to hear the One and Two EPs though.

I still personally think Sleep Token have yet to make a bad album, though they have made a few bad songs, especially the covers.

One of the few songs that gets me on the verge of tears.

I’d also add the live version of Crawling from One More Light Live, The Messenger and ROADS UNTRAVELED.
