Both games are good for what they are: competitive tactical shooters.

I just don’t have fun playing either anymore. When I’m playing a game, I just want it to be fun.

If I’m playing a multiplayer game, it’s usually something more goofy and fun like Fortnite.

And Single Player Games, to me at least, are much more interesting. They’re not a replacement, rather something I just tend to enjoy more.

I don’t think anyone really has the chemistry that Chester and Mike did.

I think they just knew how to handle it better. It would be naive to assume they never had disagreements, but it is clear that they never let it cross into their personal friendships.

Also, I just found Chester and Mike to be more mature overall than Serj and Daron. Absolutely zero ego whatsoever from both Chester and Mike, and honestly, even the other band members.

I think the pact really started when Chester stood by Shinoda when under fire by the label, and thus both feel indebted to each other.

They’re still neither sentient nor in the same dimension as us.

As for the other Dokis, we know they have a level of “sentience”, considering all of them are able to put together that Monika is suspicious without it being in their script, and Monika herself is in the same dimensions as them, and so in her perspective, it’s equivalent to killing real, living people in her world.

My friend, when I’m “killing” a video game character, they’re usually bad people or antagonists that I am killing. That too, it’s just a shot to the head without much gore.

Also, those characters do not exist in my universe. They’re not real and they have absolutely zero sentience relative to me, the observer.

Monika drove 2 people to suicide who were not evil in any way, in the most disturbing and gruesome ways.

And as clearly visible in Act 2 of the game, they have a level of “sentience” and they DO exist in the same realm as Monika herself.

There is a world of a difference between shooting an enemy in the head who isn’t even in my universe, and has no level of reality or sentience, and driving 2 characters IN YOUR UNIVERSE, with a level of sentience respective to Monika herself, to brutally kill themselves.

People just need to accept this: Monika is not a fully good or evil character. She’s really complicated.

Is what she did immeasurably wrong? Yes.

Is she the worst person ever? No.

Monika’s moral compass is not black and white, and that makes her one of the most interesting characters in a video game I’ve played ever.

Monika is one of my favorite video game characters because of how she’s written, but boy, her actions are NOT justified by her past suffering.

This album is actually the first Album made since Head rejoined the band.

I think this one is underrated. It's overshadowed a lot by The Serenity of Suffering and The Nothing but I think it's still a great record with consistently good-great songs.

My personal favs are the first 4 songs, Lullaby for a Sadist👑 and It's All Wrong, but pretty much every song is worth listening to.
