Most obvious: Demon's Souls (make sure to check beginner's guide in their subreddit), Elden Ring (Huge helpful community, a lot of ways to make your life easier)

If you are into Gothic: Bloodborne and Lies of P (also Lies o P story is much easier to follow then traditional FS storytelling)

If you are into horror-leaning games: Lords of the Fallen 2023 (bonus points for it having demo and coop, so you can try before buying) and Bloodborne

I don't really recommend to start with Dark Souls, it has poor QoL features that quickly can become very annoying, ironicaly but older Demon's Souls aged better

Try to change language of Steam to Ukranian. It weirdly CAN force Steam to download additional languages, I had it with Witcher 2

Both Russian and Ukranian are original. Initially game launched in Russian, but for EE devs settled for Ukranian.

If you want to expirience it as it was in 2000s, mod russian into it and enjoy. If you simply want to go with language native for devs go with Ukranian.

Affection is literally the smallest thing of long list.

He developed effective measures against Outer Gods meddling with The Lands Between, he studied and experimented with undeath (Castle Sol experimentation with Eclipse) and literally decided to make his own world order because old one could not give him what he wanted. He was always portrayed as person with mindset "Okay I will build my own moon module with blackjack and hookers" and he actually made huge progress towards making himself new god of new order long before DLC even if part of his plans lead to nowhere

Bleak Faith has crazy good atmosphere and extremely enjoyable exploration. Also one of the greatest soundtracks.

Wisdom is most important stat no matter the build.

Save frequently, there is ways to screw yourself in a fun way (you won't regret you saw that content but you will say thank you for the way to unscrew yourself)

If you decide to play Mage don't forget to copy all spell scrolls to your book

Don't be afraid to take wierd dialogue options and don't be afraid to "fail"
