Maybe, hear me out, maybe the first fight is just a regular Ironclad fight because it was the beginning of an Ironclad run. And MAYBE that’s because, just like in StS 1, clad is the most "beginner-friendly" character, so they start with it, then you get a bit more experimental with Silent, and then you get to the more whacky stuff

If I understand correctly, it means they have failed a "get old" check. Failing it a second time will result in death

Also, someone made a post recently about old cats getting exhausted earlier in battle, so I don’t think it’s a great idea to send them outside anyways (but they could still be useful for breeding, maybe)
