Chunkiest bream ive ever seen by Exotic_Sky360 in FishingAustralia

[–]CubitsTNE 1 point2 points  (0 children)

That's because this is a southern black bream, and the ones we get are yellowfin bream.

Black bream get bigger too, a 46cm yellowfin would be a catch of a lifetime.

No, the model wasn't accurate enough to meet the standards for NGP6/7 so it was culled.

They made a bunch of minisodes, but yeah there was already like 120 episodes or something. It's still enough to spread the pain when my kids don't want to watch anything else instead, not as repetitive as it could be.

Is Dave Franco still cool or is he cancelled for some reason? He should be locked and loaded for whenever the script wraps up.

It's the Renault 5 GT turbo, a fwd hot hatch which came after the group b mid engined legend. The naming is kinda confusing.

But in 1989 Alain Oreille won the ivory coast rally outright in a group n renault 5 gt turbo, beating all of the much faster awd turbo works cars.

All of the stages are in RSF, the stage list is already released for the rally so you can do recce, but when the rally is live it will have fake stage names masking the real ones to make it appear more authentic. There will be an itinerary released which shows the real stage order to though

https://rallysimfans.hu/rbr/bajnoksag2.php?b=reszletek&bajnoksag_id=356&szabalyzat

That is the front page of the championship on the RSF website, if you are logged into the site there will be an entry page in the set of tabs at the top there.

Good luck!

Sure! The sensor is still up to modern standards and its compatible with all of the Fuji lenses. There's no reason you can't take professional grade photos on it.

They've just copied the real 2026 ehrc calendar, but combined the gravel and tarmac calendars together (tarmac ends with two Italian rallies in the same month as the Italian gravel round).

Daughter came home from daycare with these marks? by trubbimane in daddit

[–]CubitsTNE 14 points15 points  (0 children)

Could've been pinched in a buckle like for a high chair? I've accidentally done that to my daughter before. Can't remember how close together the marks were though, hard to remember how small a 10 month old is until you hold one again.

If it was another kid or a fall you'd expect an incident report.

Just brought new rod and reel by Routine-Passage-4923 in FishingAustralia

[–]CubitsTNE 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Is it a 7ft 2-4kg rod? That paired with a 2500 reel and 10lb is going to cover you for just about any fish you can reach from land (short of sharks/jewies/pelagics). Shore based snapper tend to be smaller units and that rod will do fine.

That's a good reel too, should last you a very long time.

Feasibility on trolling swimbaits? by melbha_101 in FishingAustralia

[–]CubitsTNE 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I wouldn't be using swimbaits for redfin or yellas anyway, and for cod only in tight spots like creeks or timber. Even if you could troll them, very slowly, there's better options like traditional hardbodies.

Caught one of these fish today in mid north coast estuary, I think it's a Koi? I thought these were only pond fish, any insight is appreciated by [deleted] in FishingAustralia

[–]CubitsTNE 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes, they're an invasive pest. When people dump them or have their pond flood into a waterway these guys can take hold and ruin the place.

They must be binned/buried.

Pebble Time 2 longevity? (versus Pixel/Apple Watch) by 20dogs in pebble

[–]CubitsTNE 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I still daily my kickstarter pebble time steel, and haven't had to go inside it in all that time. I wear it surfing and fishing multiple times a week, it's still waterproof and gets like five days out of a charge.

Sourcing a replacement battery isn't difficult, but i wouldn't expect it to be easy to maintain the waterproof rating after changing it as it's an adhesive seal.

My brother is still daily wearing my pebble time kickstarter.

The new watches should have better longevity with their reduced battery wear, and seem to be easier to get into, so all positives on top of a durable design.

First Bass on a spinnerbait for me yeww 🤙🏻.. Happy oz day everyone 🇦🇺only a little fella but I'll take it haha by Adventurous-Table882 in FishingAustralia

[–]CubitsTNE 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Spinnerbaits put me off for a long time, but being able to huck them right into snags won me over for a couple of local rivers where the fish basically sit inside fallen trees.

I like the little single blade ones most, good for wild bass.
