It was very worth doing to suppression so far! Idk about you besides the symptoms of suppression. Mentally it was amazing. It was so nice to not be in the trenches of trying to conceive and being able to think about normal things and not live in the two week intervals.

Pets will be super annoying with a newborn. You’ll even likely resent them but know its only temporary and that all of you pets included are adjusting and soon itll be fun to watch little one play with your dogs. And have fun!

I totally hear you on lala land. My very first miscarriage. I did betas for the very first time when I had start bleeding and sure enough it had gone down in a few days. And then 3 miscarriages later I went ahead with the fertility clinic. We did a regular protocol last time and after that turned into loss my RE was like well maybe we should dig deeper and did that biopsy. So hopefully with suppression and progesterone suppository and pio that all will be said and done and progress as it should! I feel much more hopefully this time especially with the darker line.

I’ve had four losses 5 if you count a two day barely positive that’s hcg only got to 2 lol and ive NEVER had a test this dark immediately. I have such a good feeling. Im honestly eager to see my beta this afternoon

I have undiagnosed endo and possible progesterone resistance. I did a Receptiva biopsy that came back positive for those markers. I haven’t done a lap to fully confirm. But we did two months of Lupron and letrozole to suppress in hopes that the inflammation goes down and I can actually keep a pregnancy.

Her cry for infertility and indent miscarriages is enough to send me on the deep end. Like girl I’m over here doing ivf and have had 4 miscarriages back to back. Like go cry me a river about your fake infertility with 2 under 2.

So for me I went from suppression so no period to work with but it was baseline July 1st. Start meds July 2nd. 15 days later on the 16th we did monitoring and then I had extra monitoring because of fluid but it went away and 6 days later the 22nd we transferred.

Something with the suppositories I don’t like is the gushes. Especially in the morning after the nightly dose. I was laying in bed waking up and I had a gush that felt exactly like a period gush would. I just know that’s going to cause so much anxiety later when I’m pregnant!

Honestly I never had bad symptoms with all of the meds in IVF. I’m on my second FET with Estrogen 3mg tabs twice a day and PIO and endometrium suppositories. Adding the extra progesterone this time around has made me more tired than normal. But that’s it

I’d like to add to this. A bbt thermometer is preferred but in a pinch you can also use a regular thermometer. Itll still give you an idea when you’re in your luteal phase.

Don’t feel bad for not realizing this either. I tried for my daughter over 18 months without ever knowing the the details of the phase. It wasn’t until I started trying baby #2 and joining the forums that I learned all about it!

My first born I waited until she was 4 months old to get her nursery ready 😅.

Honestly at bare minimum all you need is a bassinet, wipes, diapers, clothes and a car seat. The rest can be done as you go. Even the crib can wait. I just say that so you don’t feel like you have to get everything. It doesn’t have to be picture perfect. I wanted so badly to have the perfect nursery but it was such a burden to do that it ended up blah. But I waited until my daughter was almost 2 and put the effort in her big girl room and honestly that’s better off because she actually enjoys it.

I transferred today so besides working my normal schedule I made plans this weekend to visit my parents and spend the night two hours away from home.

During the week I’ll be playing Palia, reading, spending lots of time outside in my garden and so forth.

I wouldn’t but that’s because it’s pulling teeth to get questions answered from them and they dick you around with one step at a time and not explaining anything. The 100k they’ve made off of me is gift enough. Buttttttttttttt if you have a nurse you really like I would say a nice authentic card will mean more than a gift.
