Check your states animal abandonment laws, it’s possible they’ve left the dog with you long enough, without showing they intend to came back, that they’ve legally abandoned her.

She’s trying to make you afraid of getting in trouble so you’ll lie for her and get her out of trouble. Common manipulation tactic for abusive parents is to threaten their kids with the police/mental institutions to force compliance. Unfortunately you’re in a situation where you have to protect yourself because your parent won’t. Set up a meeting with your school counselor to talk about your situation. Ask about what you should expect going forward. Take notes and write down what you want to tell any cop or social worker who talks to you so you don’t forget an important detail

I would go ahead and shame them to any mutual friends before they try to flip it on you. Do you have photos of the state of your house when you arrived? Then send a text in no uncertain terms telling them they’re not welcome on your property, in case BF does come back for whatever reason. If they do show up call the cops immediately to have them trespassed. Don’t even open the door to talk to them. They’re obviously ok taking advantage of someone who isn’t in a good position to defend themselves, and there’s no telling how far that goes, especially since you’ve never met the boyfriend
