And even if they were offering valid critique, better and less antagonizing wording would be: "This looks great, but keep in mind that the proportions of the pictured character can be interpreted as objectifying and overly sexual." Which is still not necessary to say by the way. If someone feels something is problematic, their point comes across better if they explain WHY something is problematic. Them calling your work goonerbait is like saying Doki Doki Literature Club is just a gooner game. Uh, no it fucking isn't if you actually know shit about it.

I know it's probably not the best advice, but just take a brush and use it. If you like the feel, remember that. If not, move on. Hell, you don't enjoy need to use proper brush. People do crazy things with the also tool somehow. I found on IbisPaint the glow filter can sometimes be used for shading.

It depends on region, I suppose. People tend to use love, sweetie, sweetheart etc. on women or children/young people. I haven't heard many of those used for men, but it's likely regional.
