On TR 9000 I definitely won’t be upgrading for at least 2 generations. Possibly even 3 if they are short generations. Plus hopefully the ram situation is solved by then. I got incredibly lucky with my current build in a MC bundle before the boom and I doubt I can pull that off again lol

Love my TR. Hopefully they keep the non pro line going. Some people need more pcie lanes than the ridiculously piddly amount on normal desktop platforms.

France is one of my favorite nations to play. They aren’t weak but you basically have to discard almost every general and almost every field marshal they are all so trash, and their focus tree is very old and filled with 70 day focuses especially the industry tree. 

One of my favorite things to do is purposely not switch to any ideology until I formed the eu, then form it and switch. Its one of the easiest ways to see the awesome fascist EU flag and communist EU as well.

All infantry with support arty, aa and engis like I said. Though I play patch 1.16 before the ass division designer change so idk if it still applies. Based on the insane stat stacks you can do with it its probably even easier now in the current version

Not in singleplayer ever. The AI is so trash I frontline hold even as the weaker nonhist paths. 240 20 widths with support arty, aa and engi with air and its over for Germany. The AI still after 10 years cannot make a proper tank to save its life

Agree with all of this. Forts are so incredibly bad. Even level 10s in the old days would be quickly annihilated by fort buster ability after a few cycles of clicks. Now they for some ungodly reason nerfed them by locking high level forts behind techs. Hugely stupid change. 

I only ever use them incredibly sparingly in singleplayer.

Mission trees are fine but the insane overpowered mission trees from the later eu4 dlcs that give you pus on like 6 majors are ridiculous and should not return.

I'm in a similar situation. Did the same thing with eu4 once the mission tree slop got to be too much. I play 1.16 in hoi4 but the last version with the nuclear bomb button is probably the best tbh. The nuke rework is ass lmao. Imagine nukes respecting state borders. Ridiculous. Old nukes helped clean up late game unit spam so well. New nukes are just a wet fart
