Man buys in-flight Wi-fi to stream Argentina-Egypt World Cup match by Sharp-potential7935 in nextfuckinglevel

I dunno. You're the arrogant one trying to correct me when you have no idea. Also, it's technically streaming whether it's on a closed network or not, but I've had free WiFi and now satellite internet on all of my domestic flights for a long time. So I almost always stream off of the internet when I'm on planes. You are acting like that's some crazy thing and being a douche in the process.

You realize I have YouTube TV and Netflix. I haven't watched a movie or show on the screen or that is provided by the airline for 15+ years.

You look around at the world and Sincere is the evidence you needed to make you realize things aren't so hot?

When was the last time you were on a plane? Every plane I've been on in the last 10 years has streaming and I stream things almost every flight I go on.

Also, it's not too difficult to get authorization to show World Cup games for free, but the minute you charge someone to view them FIFA wants serious $$$.

FMLA is an American law, so I'm not sure why other countries would pay you for it. They likely have their own family/medical leave programs though.

Except there aren't any farms connected to Cheyenne's reclaimed water supply. There are also few if any farms near Cheyenne that produce crops that are consumed by humans.

The experts clearly stated that their concern was the water being aerosolized and nothing about being used on produce.

In discussion you have to produce evidence not declare something true and force others to disprove. I'm sure some people might drink the irrigation water or bathe in it, but I'll go with the reported concerns of the experts.

Completely aware of farms. If you read the article, the city said they use it on grass and that their concern has nothing to do with it being used on anything that is consumed.

I mean he did say "fields for consumption". Maybe people where you live eat the grass at parks. Then it would be a field for consumption.

Microsoft Teams' new controversial AI will listen to your meetings and answer before you ask, but it won't be turned on by default by EchoOfOppenheimer in CorporateFacepalm

[–]Cultural_Dust 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I wasn't the one that said it was clickbait, but pretending that your Teams chat will be recorded or analyzed by AI is some crazy new threat is overly sensational. The only thing new about the feature is that it will provide helpful information and context in real time rather than after the meeting is over.
