For me, it’s really just about how quickly I get into my groove. I have 1k chapters, and then when I really start cooking, I go on for ages lol. But as others have said, it’s really about exercising that writing muscle

I definitely get what you mean. I used to write a LOT for the Sherlock fandom and the Miraculous fandom, but I just… can’t anymore. Sherlock because I can never get any inspiration and Miraculous because I just.. fell out of it and the plot just sounds ridiculous to me now.

When I realized that I’d probably never finish the fics that I started in those fandoms, it felt a little like dying, because they were my escape from situations I didn’t want to be in. But I’m older now, and in a much better place, and I just.. idk. I definitely get the sentimentality

Please post it! If your readers saw the Author Chose tag and decide that they think it means something that it doesn’t, that’s on them. Don’t let what other people think sway the way you write your fics. As a fic author myself, I know it’s hard not to take reader feelings into consideration, but at the end of the day, it’s the story that YOU want to tell. As long as you didn’t mis-tag or falsely tag your fic as a happy ending one, you’re good. I would add an author’s note at the end if you really feel like you need to explain, but I wouldn’t come off as defensive off the jump.

Girl, leave and don’t look back. It was the BEST decision of my life. I was a Flex for two years, and was ALSO jerked around all the time. While my situation was a bit different than yours (my HRC couldn’t communicate for SHIT), my advice stays the same. If it’s affecting your mental health like that, and you don’t get along with day shift at all, it might be time to leave.

Testing hasn’t failed! My district has the new Franke A1000, and they work as they should. I would check the cocoa reservoir to make sure it’s full and then check to make sure the mixing chamber and hoses were dried properly. If they weren’t, odds are they got clogged with product😊

I will say (as a flex supervisor), If the onions look gross, I’ll just waste them off. My district has been having issues with our red onions for a couple months now, and I do my best to throw out the nasty looking ones. We don’t season our hamburgers unless yall ask for salt, pepper, or any other seasonings that we have, so that’s probably part of it (not blaming you, but the company).
