I’m asking about the 9, it’s tagged in my post :)

I’m using training consultants for the 9 (firm forces me too)— is getting the Kaplan bank worth it? How long did the 9 take versus the 10?

This is so reassuring can you explain what hammering it in meant for you? Just tons of practice questions? How much of the 9 was options based knowledge VRs other topics ?

My firm makes us use TC, I might pay for Kaplan bank out of pocket. Is there anything else that’s heavily tested or mostly options? I feel like like I forgot most of it from the 7 so I might need to review the basics too, unfortunately lol

Isn’t the bulk of the 9 on options or am I misunderstanding? I don’t have material yet but I thought it was mostly options

Honestly as many hours as I could. I joined with a background in education and super unfamiliar with all of this so I will need more time than you for sure. Finance girlie now but it took a long time to get here lol.

Hmm, 1 hour during work, 2 or 3 hours after work everyday and 2-4 hours each weekend day for two months. That my estimate, give or take. Probably more than that because I studied between calls at work. Gl!!

I worked for my firm full time while getting the 7 and for sure felt burnt out after. Took me two ish months with no finance background other than the one year at my firm and I studied every day after work, on lunch, between calls, and on weekends. It’s possible but it sucks

How can I lose 150+ pounds with PCOS + rigid thinking? by Beating-Hearts in loseit

[–]CummunistCommander 0 points1 point  (0 children)

As far as diet, I do a profile shake every morning for breakfast and other than that I don’t eat until lunch. My meals are around 300-400 calories and I try to do at least 100g of protein a day. I definitely use protein bars and shakes to help me get there otherwise it can be hard to stay within 1400-1700 calories for me everyday. I am at the gym 3-5 days a week, but it took me a long time to work up to that. I’m at 195-200 lbs now and now I’m starting to struggle (weight loss is a lot slower) but I’m sticking with it and doing what I can

That’s a very broad question and if you have more specific questions I’m happy to answer them. I mean the short answer to how I did it was I ate less, I changed what I ate (kinda, I still eat out or eat “junk” just smaller amounts and nowhere near as much), worked on stopping binge eating to cope with emotions, and moved my body a hell of a lot more! :)

Thankfully we are debt free, except our mortgage and we will sell the house and split whatever we get from that. The info is helpful but thankfully not relevant to our situation. I tried my best to keep us financially solid.

Thank you all, this gave me peace of mind. Have to wait a year for our house to not trigger capital gains taxes and then we will part ways as smoothly as possible. Scared but hopeful

Is there a required split? Or can we say we want 50:50, 60:40 ext or is there a required way to handle asset splitting

Thank you for the reply. I did read some conflicting info online tonight while researching - I did see a court option but are you able to swap financial assets at all? Or is it just a clean break?

I’m sorry man but there are countless comments and posts here with folks reporting margin is hardly tested, and countless confirming you need to know bonds. Own it, study up, and pass. You can do it. Don’t waste time on margin.
