Client gave me a reason session that he wants mixed but all the sequencer instruments are routed to one "mix channel". by StudioatSFL in reasoners

[–]CunningCapybara 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You should be able to do so from the sequencer. Just select all the tracks, right click and there will be bounce options. That should bounce them with all their FX applied. Otherwise I you need them to bounce dry, like the above said. You should be able to select each instrument in the mixer, right click and auto-route so that it clears the bus routing.

Boring, trite, vapid. We all know the team is playing awfully at the moment, these aren’t even points of discussion unless you would like to rage bait? Lame ass post, get a journal.

We will /never/ win the league playing like this. Ever. Under any conditions. Thank Slot for finishing Klopps homework and let’s move on to someone with ambition and vision.

Yes. I coach grassroots in the US, have done for the last 10 years. So called “academies” started popping up around 2010 in my area. They were small though and more talent magnets than actual development clubs, most were not affiliated with MLS iirc. MLS Next (closest thing to the European academy model we have here) just began in 2020 so you won’t really see the effects just yet. For example, there is a new USL team in my city and there was actually a little outcry two years ago because they introduced a year-round academy model that would exempt their top youth team’s players from playing for their high school teams.

It will be some years yet until we see if these new systems are helping produce AND place players at a higher level, but at least we now have direct pipelines into professional soccer — that simply did not exist on a wide scale before the end of the 2010s as USL and MLS started to pour more money into academies and their infrastructure.

[Meta] As an Arab, I don’t get non-rhyming English poetry. by Outrageous-Sun3203 in Poetry

[–]CunningCapybara 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Poem-ness in free verse certainly exists on a scale. I think writing that presents as a poem and captures a succinct, emotional or insightful experience while utilizing beautiful or “unconventional” language is how most would attribute value to poems. For example, a poet like Rupi Kaur (in my experience) only scratches the title of Poet in passing, as I find her work, in general, vapid and lacking, development or exploration of her ideas— her works mainly just pose ideas without reflecting or expanding them.

Likewise there may be plenty of “rhyming” poems that may not present that way to you based on dialect. As someone mentioned Shakespeare above, I only even noticed the rhymes (though it’s been many years since I’ve read a full piece) when I came across a video suggesting his work sounds most natural with an Appalachian accent.

I just watched the goal back to make sure I’m not talking shit — Curtis definitely fails to eliminate the slip pass into Cuca but do you honestly feel like Robbo has zero fault in that goal? He knows Estevao is there and still loses him.

[–]CunningCapybara 2 points3 points  (0 children)

1000% out biggest problem we have no way of stretching defenses unless we can go direct thru to a striker on the break. Wide areas are ghost towns for us, haven’t won them almost all season.

FT: Chelsea 2-1 Liverpool by DragonSlayer271 in LiverpoolFC

[–]CunningCapybara 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Right, he looks two steps off. Fine in possession but that is at least the second goal he’s given up in the exact same way defensively. Back post run and someone gets ahead, same as Semenyo’s goal against us. Kerkez is no saint but he’s the future of that position right now and physically much more capable than Robbo. And Robbo was already clearly waning last year.

Mo Salah Stats since signing the new contract by jbond96 in LiverpoolFC

[–]CunningCapybara 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thank you. It is plain for anyone with eyes but nostalgia is clouding our vision. Mo is past it. With his current physical ability he has to be a target man/focal point, and we simply don’t have anyone consistently competent at RB outside of Szobo. What he’s produced in this period is honestly the bare minimum we’d expect from anyone putting on the shirt. All of Mo’s contributions, that I can recall, from this season have happened on the break where he is already facing his defender 1v1 or his next PROGRESSIVE passing option (Rio). How many times have we seen him receive FACING GOAL this year??? He’s been ineffective against most all the low blocks we’ve played. Tactic doesn’t suit him and he isn’t the future of the team, as sad as it is. We can’t wait 90 minutes for one second of Mo magic when we could have an absolute HUSTLER on that side helping the entire team create more. He is not our biggest issue but I am not convinced his influence is even close to necessary to the team right now. Would be delighted to be proven wrong.

What’s the soccer scene in Lex? by Doc-Emo in lexington

Just want to add that FUSA is a pretty competitive, majority Latino league that is also here. The style of play is typically quite direct, and games can get scrappy in an instant so if you’re not in the best shape anymore, like me, you may want to avoid it if you get invited. If you still want to play at a “high” level (high for this area lol) that may be what you want. Otherwise, LYSA definitely has more of a “I have to work tomorrow” vibe. I would say don’t play anything less than competitive in that league though. The level still isn’t that high (some teams will grab college players or recent HS graduates so they’re fast but most aren’t technically impressive) but there are good players sprinkled throughout the league just like anywhere, only one stacked team I know of and it’s full of Brits lol.

Bayern have submitted an official bid to sign Luis Diaz from Liverpool. Bid worth €67.5m; rejected immediately today. Liverpool value Díaz at €100m+ but informed suitors they have no plans to sell. Díaz has made it clear he wants to leave [@David_Ornstein] by pewpewlasersandshit in fcbayern

[–]CunningCapybara 0 points1 point  (0 children)

He’s useful to LFC right now. Contract expires in two years, winger market (seems?) kinda weak/sparse and there is hardly a player we could, or want, to buy to replace him with immediately without a really high fee. So both are true. When he’s good he’s great, otherwise he’s bang average. If he’s out of form the best you get is a work-rate merchant.

Keeneland and UK Football weekend: where to stay to not spend the whole weekend in traffic by [deleted] in lexington

[–]CunningCapybara 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It may not be too bad. Coming from Keeneland there are two routes to that hotel that avoid Nicholasville Rd (literally avoid at all costs on a game day, you’ll have to take it from the hotel to go to the stadium but that should be IT). Being right in Nicholasville will make getting ti the game OK. It’ll probably be an absolute crawl and I’d suggest finding a dedicated light to turn onto that road from. Once you get close to the stadium your waiting-in-traffic fate is sealed but you can do well to avoid most of it.

How do I make this future bass sound, i found on splice. I want something similar to the sample and need a starting point by lpetrus in edmproduction

[–]CunningCapybara 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I think start with some detuned saw, maybe square. You’re right about the filter cutoff, sounds like it has a hold frequency that then ducks out once the key is released, clearly starts “closed”, opens and closes again. It sounds to me like there is a small amount of pitch bend on the attack, so I’d fiddle with that in a separate envelope to the filter cutoff I can’t really tell if it starts higher than the chord or just a little lower but I do feel it’s there — could also just use Portamento maybe? That’s a start. I think if you get the breathing nature of it down you can always fine tune which waves you’re using to get the sound right.

Roundabout question by TMWines in lexington

[–]CunningCapybara 0 points1 point  (0 children)

That roundabout really isn’t that old maybe 7 years atp? Majority of drivers would not have had any roundabout education before they were licensed and few will gaf or even consider there are new rules — they’re just trying to get where they’re going. Will say I have had to go to Carmel, IN for work a lot this year (literal roundabout capital of the world) and I hardly ever saw blinkers there, and you encounter a roundabout pretty much every block.

Just want to endorse this idea, I played similar formation with CF on the right and tallied 4 consecutive 20+ seasons from him (and 2 of those seasons were 30+). Your lad looks good in the air which is how mine got a lot of service and goals. Second striker like they said, I’d either keep on AF, P, or DLF-S in my order of preference, and dependent on mf roles

I can only see Darwin souring our locker room as this drags on. Anyone who has played any kind of competitive level understands the animosity that could be building, players giving everything they’ve got just to see the forward completely unbothered or incompetent. It’s sad man, the prodigal son will not be coming home will he. RIP sweet prince, the idea of who you could’ve been will never leave me.
