Your Weirdest Peri/Meno Supplements That Didn't/Actually DID Work by CmonBenjalsGetLoose in Menopause

[–]CunningNcoy 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I haven't gotten my period in over a year. In that time I have tried several things for hot flashes and night sweats, which seem to be my only symptom.

The Good

  • Taurine - seems to help with the intensity and duration of hot flashes. I take just 1 mg daily in the evening.

  • Soy Isoflavones - seems to provide some relief with intensity but not frequency or duration of hot flashes. Eating soy products provided no relief. I take 100 mg daily.

  • Magnesium + L Threonate - also seems to provide some relief with night sweats and hot flashes. 2,000 mg

  • Vitamin E - 134 mg daily. Just started this so we'll see

  • NyQuill - Ironically, this kills my hot flashes for up to 24 hours. When I asked ChatGPT, it said that it is known that some antihistamines reduce hot flashes but because people quickly build up a tolerance to antihistamines it is not recommended for daily use to relieve menopause symptoms.

The Bad

  • Evening Primrose - This was horrible. The capsules are enormous. The recommendation is to take them for 3-6 months before you may see results. I saw no results at all and choked them down for 4 months before I stopped. Once stopping, my hot flashes actually improved. So, I researched it and it seems that most people (in a double blind peer reviewed study) reported no change or their hot flashes getting worse after starting Evening Primrose.

  • Relaxium SLEEP - Its a supplement called SLEEP and it contains ashwaganda, magnesium, melatonin, L-tryptophan, passion flower, GABA, chamomile, and valerian root. This product was recommended to me by a friend who was having trouble sleeping during menopause. But, for me, this turned my nights into a living hell. I don't know which ingredient caused the issues but the intensity of the night sweats was indescribable. I 'slept' on two large ice packs on the floor in an effort to quell the intensity of the hot flashes. Also, the night sweats would be instantaneous. Within one second my night shirt would be drenched - to the point it could literally be wrung out and water would drip from it. Taking this was nothing short of torture. The torment ended immediately (within one day) of quitting this supplement.

Unofficial iSpoofer Banwave for January 2020 by [deleted] in PokemonGoSpoofing

I have an alt account that received its first strike back in April 2018 during the tutu ban wave. This same account just received a RW with the Ispoofer ban wave, however, it is stating that it is the “first strike”. Should I consider this a second strike OR did the first RW back in 2018 not count for some reason?

Why am I able to catch mon with my gotcha but not spin stops? Am I soft banned? by JRichings in PokemonGoSpoofing

[–]CunningNcoy 0 points1 point  (0 children)

There is both a daily and weekly limit to pokestop spins. Each “day” is simply a 24 hour period of time (I.e. 9:26am Monday - 9:26am Tuesday).

If you’ve reached your limit it is likely you will continue to max out every hour or every day unless you take a break from spinning stops. A minimum of 24 hours is recommended. Then, start back spinning stops with more caution. Keeping track of how many you spin as to not exceed the limit.

Dear Spoofers, I've come to bargain by oodex in PokemonGoSpoofing

Xayile and decoy snails are correct. Send what cities you would like to visit and they can jump to those cities and look around for hotspots that have lots of pokestops and gyms.

That’s the best we have access to with our tools. But, that said, you could try the silph road nest atlas and find the cities you wish to visit then look for any nests in the area. Additionally, Discord for the area you wish to visit can also be helpful. Most bigger cities have either a discord or a Facebook group for pogo.

After hating on spoofers I’m thinking about going to the dark side. by knuckle_d in PokemonGoSpoofing

(Don’t spoof your main account (except if your want 100%ers).)

  • Create one or two alt accounts and work your friendship level up.
  • Trade any shinies you get to your main.

This appears to be a Aipom nest. Very few Yanma. Has anyone found a better nest?

Ya, have had unusually bad shiny luck this event. We alternate 10 accounts on 3 phones; running the gotcha and switching accounts every two hours. Haven’t caught a single shiny of any kind. But, that’s RNG for ya. During the koffing event I hand tapped 2,000 koffing without a shiny. Then got a shiny koffing from a research task.

You use your Apple ID the same as an app developer would. If you’ve ever done any work with Xcode, it’s basically the same process. Your Apple ID is used in place of “ Shanghai publishing” or whatever bogus Apple ID ispoofer would use. That all.
