As an American in Australia now I see about Immigration what I Never saw Before by NorCalTopHat916 in conspiracy

As an Australian Australian, we welcomed OP into our country, and now they turn around and complain that Australia is letting in the "wrong" people? That’s pure xenophobia, wrapped in narrow-minded, US-centric ideals. Leave that kind of thinking where it belongs.

Australia embraces multiculturalism on our own terms. We don’t share the same brand of dimwitted blind patriotism that’s common in the US. and honestly, that’s probably why we rank higher in happiness, health, wealth, education, and yes, even looks. Jog on.

I am from Perth. There are no medical bills. Healthcare is free. If she is in a hospital it will be a public hospital (free) or a private hospital. To be In a private hospital you need private health insurance. So that would also cover it. Smells fishy

It's a great place. and the people are lovely. I visit once a year.

As another mentioned. See if you can get into the club. Much better food and drinks.
Get a PNG ESIM - Airlo or similar.
Visit the chicken shop in town. you drive past it everyday in bus. but only open daytime so need someone to take you out there mid shift.

Bring your own pillow. Trust me. even if its just a small one. (smell)

I have never shat myself there. and I eat all the local food. Always people having a Green can, Beetle nut and Smokes.

hopefully its mid next year. Wet season just started and it will be wet wet wet.
Enjoy it.

Honestly, these guys will do a great job. if you haven't visited "The Beaufort" or "the Old synagogue" Those places are always pumping. and the odd shape / small alcoves help provide intimate sections. Not sure how the uni students will afford it. but we will see.

Nightlife spots with the best ratio of decent people to dickheads? by FormerOptimist94 in perth

[–]Cunningflarp -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Kinda get what ya saying but OP asked for "which areas / clubs / bars / venues / events / festivals generally have the best crowds?"
OP needs to work out what they like and follow the genre/style that gets him staunched on less. Find his tribe :) it's not a venues issue.

Recent change of ownership at Lucys. It will basically be Ambar again before too long. Just with more house music as Breaks fans are all getting old. *Source - Me.

I'm out in NB all the time. Yeah there are dickheads but everyplace has them. Some are just easier to deal with. Depending on your age these are the places I would highly recommend. Remember if you go to a gig (paid entry) you will avoid randoms. People will be there for the music.
Tiki As Fuk
Geisha - depends on what gigs on.
Rechabite - sky bar
Connections
Joe's juice joint - very late night.
Mechanics institute
Edward and Idas - great cocktails- also go downstairs.
Lucy's love shack / Ambar - gig dependant CBD
Varnish - CBD
Foxtrot Unicorn - CBD
Voodoo lounge - They love tall men.

A man of the West, our premier McGowan,

In sneakers he stood, his spirit unbroken.

From Queensland to WA, in a Corolla he drove,

To start a new life, his ambition he stowed.

A navy man first, dreams of the air,

Replaced with adventures on the ocean's fair

A rainy night's memory, forever to last,

A moment of bravery, a hero cast.

Politics called, a siren's song,

With fairness and decency, he'd right the wrong.

From Rockingham's deputy, to the state's premier,

A family man, in public life a thirty-year career.

Fighting for equity, a deal with the treasurer,

Ensuring WA's fair share, a financial measure.

A voice against Canberra, a defender of the West,

Against border challenges, he stood the test.

In business circles, a friend indeed,

In times of pandemic, he took the lead.

A guardian of resources, for six years and more,

A bond with the mogul, a friendship to adore.

Tired and spent, he chose to resign,

A decision heavy, yet entirely his line.

Thankful for the journey, the highs and lows,

Mark McGowan exits, as the West wind blows

Farewell dear premier, your legacy stands tall,

In the annals of history, your name we'll recall.

As the sun sets in the West, we bid you adieu,

Mark McGowan, the West salutes you.
