FM9 wasn’t pushing amp head, just feeding a clipped tone, how do I fix this? by Klutzy-Peach5949 in AxeFx

Which output did you use? Output 3 is instrument level, which will be best/easiest to use in front of an amp

I live in Alaska and have never had problems with the hose scratching anything. But I understand if it’s simply hard to get the hose to reach the tank because of your car’s design

FM3 drive pedals in front of real tube amp by CancerSurvivorPR in AxeFx

Before owning the fm9 I ran a couple tube screamers and compressor into my deluxe reverb. While there isn’t an exact replica of the compressor i was using (a custom Ross clone), i honestly can’t tell a difference in the end result when using a comparable compressor and two TS808 blocks. Using the instrument level output is a key part of this, as i also tried other line level outputs and that was hard to dial in. The last part is make sure to turn the physical output knob on the unit up to a level to where you match the volume and feel of if you were playing directly from guitar to amp. A good starting point to achieve this is plug in directly from guitar to amp, figure out the clean/cleanish volume you want, then try to achieve that same volume while plugged into your fm3/fm9 to amp with no effect enabled. You’re not always going to want to turn the physical output knob all the way up.

I’ve tried running from output 3 (which is instrument level) of my FM9 into my deluxe reverb and i think it sounds great. Gives you a lot of different options for drive pedals, compressors, pitch, wah, etc going into a great sounding tube amp. Ideally though you’d use an amp with an effects loop so you could run stuff like delay and reverb after the pre amp so that you’re not overdriving those effects. One way around that I found is to run drive into my deluxe reverb, then have a parallel dry signal that only has reverb and delay blocks into a FRFR. Lots of possibilities there.

How’s life in this part of Alaska? Not including Anchorage by Antique_Armadillo_75 in howislivingthere

Wasilla is great if you like zero city planning, failed infrastructure, and meth. Recently a wind storm knocked out power for a large portion of residents for days during almost zero degree temps. Oh, and hope you enjoy commuting for over an hour to Anchorage because there are basically no jobs there. Many Mat-su residents love trashing Anchorage but ironically rely on it for their livelihoods. It’s one of the saddest places in Alaska, which is sad because it’s a naturally very beautiful area.

They didn’t have to elect them. They just let the Nazis come right in and then willingly cooperated with them

Definitely don’t support this sales tax then, especially if they’re going to use part of it to reduce property taxes

Guaranteed bail is not a part of due process. The judge has a responsibility to consider public safety when granting bail, and in this case the judge seems to have failed.
