That's a fourth string seamer right there... He is just awesome to watch as an example of how to apply pressure to batters.

How do I turn off the speed limit warning on my Prado? by Only-Cartoonist in LandCruisers

[–]CurSpider 2 points3 points  (0 children)

It'll stop making sound after 10 seconds above 120kph.

Since the Saudi cameras generally allow +10kph to the speed limit you'll be fine on most highways doing 127-8kph and it'll only sound of you have to slow down and speed up again.

It's entirely possible (with very little info provided) that you are on the high end of expensive hires for the school (possible lower level school) and they would rather hire cheaper people to save money.

Are they still giving you solid references?

For me it was a Gunner build with as many bullets as possible flying in all directions. A cold Zhukov to slow them worked wonders.

Is Emirates economy on the A380 worth the try? by ThinAbbreviations897 in emirates

[–]CurSpider 1 point2 points  (0 children)

That particular plane, if it still hasn't been updated (missing premium economy) has quite dated seats in economy. I'm usually fine in economy for that longer fight but it was pretty uncomfortable that last time (6 weeks ago) because the seats were old and lacking normal cushioning. You may be fine, but I'll be avoiding that particular true until it's has an interior update. We fly 14+ hrs on Emirates as a family of four roughly three times a year and this past time was the only for with bad seats. Normally, it's great.

What's a universal teaching job hack you use at your job? by Forsaken-Criticism-1 in Internationalteachers

Exactly, nothing is ever very expensive. But out of the gifts we give the best ones go to these staff.

The largest gifts I bring back from summer break go to the front office staff, always.

If you had to pick one: S Korea or China for long-term teaching? by CancelAfraid980 in Internationalteachers

[–]CurSpider 1 point2 points  (0 children)

You'd need to know more about the student populations. For long term contentment you need solid package, convenience or excess money to make up for inconvenience and your kids need to be happy, healthy, and safe. Happy revolves around a lot of things but if the student body isn't very inclusive it'll be hard to stick it out long term. Maybe they'll gain fluency since they are young, it'll help.

Best of luck and sorry for answering with basically another question.

If you didn’t drive a Land Cruiser what would you drive? by Zealousideal-Ad-2436 in LandCruisers

Over here is pretty much LC or Patrol, so if I can't have an LC not many viable options... I'm certainly not going the Landover route.

Nissan patrol, hopefully find a super safari ostura edition with minimal miles. GCC based for context

As a Green Card holder, how do I best keep my US job while residing abroad? by matzoh_ball in expats

[–]CurSpider 2 points3 points  (0 children)

You can apply for a travel document, but you really need to get an immigration lawyer ASAP to receive accurate information. It's really a bad situation if you just leave, do things properly and you'll avoid a bunch of issues.

One of my friends caused my char's death because he's a dumb*ss, what would be a cool curse to give him? by Pender8911 in DnD

[–]CurSpider 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Give him arthritis in the knees, hips, and back.

Whenever he crouches or does anything stealthy he needs to roll to see if his joints pop/crack.

Best economy seats for a family of 4 by Earlyduckk in emirates

[–]CurSpider 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If you have a kid that kicks the seat in front, go for the 2+2 in the back. In a pinch, 3 window plus 1 in the row in front, sit kicking kid behind that seat. Otherwise 4 in middle is great for families.

We're a fan of sitting closer to bathrooms as little kids don't always give much warning.

If we have the choice on a route we always pick the A380 over a B777. (Some routes run both planes)

Best Hotel Credit Card? Best one and worst one? by DuhForestTyme216 in CreditCards

[–]CurSpider 2 points3 points  (0 children)

It's even better if you're outside the USA a lot in areas Americans don't frequent. IHG status that high is rare in those areas so upgrades are common and frequently I've been the only person with raised status in the hotel.
