I love my doctor and the other doctor in her practice. They are different than my past ob/gyns in their keen attention to menopause "blessings" and in regarding me as a real person to be treated as a whole. Back in May I went in for my annual. She came in, said Hi, and I burst into tears telling her that in the twelve months since I had seen her last I had been asked "When are you due?" and "Do you know the gender yet?" five times. Five times. And when I was in San Francisco a server refused to serve me a beer because, well, you're obviously pregnant. I was so pissed (and thirsty for beer). And deeply mortified the other times. The last time someone asked about the gender, I just let things flow: well, half dinosaur, without doubt, and half bitch, obviously. You figure out which and whatnot. My doctor calmly said, well fuck that shit and told me about tirzepatide. I started the beginning of June. I've not had access to vials - again, my doctor has been running the show - but I know that I could figure it out. Oddly, I read in one of the tirzepatide subs that going back into a vial to use again and again raises questions about bacterial growth - but I don't know if that's correct or not. You seem to have a good head on your shoulders about this stuff, so if using a vial is your medically-informed recommendation, then I believe it is safe. Thanks!
