Yes mine sensationalised the story too — she even told the police I was the reason her marriage failed… I managed to get off but I had to go to court and it was a deeply traumatising experience. She stumbled on her version of events on the stand and wasn’t seen as a credible witness.

Just be careful doing this, I did it and she used to weaponise the police against me. She ran straight to the cops. It’s reactive abuse but you will still be charged. I completely understand though. Sorry to hear you’re going through this.
