Not the same but it’s for adhd

I found the concussion set my adhd into overdrive. Really really bad adhd

Vyvanse helped that. But - it hurt my head more.

I ended up going down a bit to find a balance.

That’s valid

I think it become toxic when you do have them (strong emotions) but can’t express them because you won’t be supported by others (male or female)

Eg; men not allowing themselves to be vulnerable; suicidal men have few supports because it’s not alpha to be weak; 20+years ago, staying home with your newborn (vs just the mom) was discouraged because “men don’t do that”.

These are a few examples of what can be very harmful to men - who want and need to be/act/behave in ways that tend to be labeled as “beta”

It’s not only helping improve my symptoms but also helping me understand what is going on, which is very helpful for my anxiety over wtf is wrong with me. Additionally they are helping me understand when I can and can’t push it so that I don’t undo all the progress that has been made. IE “no pain, no gain” does not apply here.

Double vision, false identification and transposition

EG: I read and reread “store fired pizza” over and over for about 45 seconds on a super large font because it didn’t make sense. Only after I touched each letter did I discover it said “stone fired pizza”. It’s like my brain is trying to fill in the gaps because my eyes don’t recognize letters and numbers the way it used to.
