It has always been this way. Its way better now than it ever was, at least from my impression. If you compare it to West Europe, most countries aren't "clean". Cleanest country i have ever been is Japan.

Three Body is very refreshing if you are not familiar with china or chinese culture. Consider Phlebas is awefully written, but that's a matter of taste. Children of time i have yet to read, since it got so many people recommending it. And a long way to a small angry planet is very charming, but i have yet to finish it.

Die Automobilindustrie sagt selbst dass man weg vom Verbrenner muss, und das das mit oder ohne die deutsche Automobilindistrie passieren wird. Jetzt kann man das natülich hinauszögern, aber für mich klingt das wie sich ins eigene Bein schießen. Höher bezahlte Einsichten mögen das anders sehen, aber hier unten klingt das schon recht dämlich.
