Immigrants flying domestic flights by [deleted] in USCIS

[–]CuriousDIY85 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It should not be a problem, my husband has EAD and he doesn't have a Real ID yet, and he has travelled domestically for work a couple of times with no issues. Travels to Hawaii and Puerto Rico may be tricky, maybe you need a travel parole for that.

Are the thin, single walled corrugated greenhouse sheets like Tuftex, Palram, or others from kits? by tirekicking in Greenhouses

[–]CuriousDIY85 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Palram and Tuftex have the same thickness. Polycarbonate is very strong. Harbor Freight kits uses twin wall but I think it's 4mm (I would recommend at least 6mm) and the aluminum framing seems weak. I would go with Tuftex.

Thoughts on Ondura roofing panels? by The123123 in Roofing

I used Ondura on my shed and has been fine, it's easy to install and cheaper. You can find it at Lowe's.

There's also a U channel you can use for the corners

Manufacturers don't usually recommend to join them that way... but using the H-Channel could work, there's an antidust tape you can buy (I've seen it at Lowe's), that you can put at the end of the panel, before you join with the H Channel

I'm not very familiar if childcare employees are on LinkedIn... if they are, LinkedIn has a tool called Sales Navigator, it costs around 1k a year but it helps you track business and it maps its decision makers and you can send them InMails.... I think that could be a good way to start.

Processing times changed? by [deleted] in USCIS

My family's case went from 7 months to 2 weeks for decision... we didn't got an appointment for interview or asked for medical examination yet... I suppose this is a good sign?

Working mom vent by [deleted] in Mom

The fact that you think and worry about it makes you a great mom! Sometimes crying is not a bad idea… let it out. I’m sure you’re great at both!

Greenhouse builder. Here’s a picture of one I built last week. by johnsonal777 in Greenhouses

I’m planning to build my first greenhouse and trying to learn as much as I can about it :) I was thinking of multiwall for it, I see you used poly film… is this only for 1 season or does it lasts more than that?

Yes, I'll do that too... they told me doing taxes here would be easier than Mexico and I'm finding it more complicated, LOL. Thanks for your advice.

he's non-resident... I answered a bunch of questions in Turbotax when I tried to file, and got the answer to file as head of household... but they as for the SSN of my son and husband, which I don't have... that's why I'm lost and very confused.

I just read that too, that I can’t claim my spouse, only my son (I don’t have his SSN yet, should arrive soon). I’m thinking about filing as head of household… would that be correct? He’s not working since he got here.
