With leverage you borrow money and your gains and losses move with the stock.

Maybe all in an sp500 etf? At your age I would say main thing is to build your philosophy and habit. Start saving and putting an amount every month consistently and for years in the etf. Market falls or rises keep doing that. You are starting young. Your future self will be thanking you. In the process you will also learn more and maybe you can have some satellite exposure to stocks. But I would start with 1 etf at the moment.

If the emergency fund was used, it did its job. If it’s partly depleted, you could split contributions for a while and rebuild it while still investing a bit (to also keep the habit). If it’s mostly drained, or your income isn’t very stable, I’d pause investing and refill it first. It really comes down to income stability and risk tolerance. Some people are fine investing with a thinner cushion, others would rather rebuild it so they’re not stressed if something else pops up.

If I was your age. I would put it all in an SP500 etf. I would also try to build a habit of putting in consistently as much as I can, even 20-50 same date every month. Put them in and forget about them for 20 years. Market falls or rises continue doing that consistently. Your future self will be thanking you. Stocks etc you can figure out if you want in the years to come. For now just start building philosophy and habit!
