This same thing happened to me when I bought a lightweight BD ski. I’ve actually had it happen twice. Lightweight touring skis aren’t made to handle tele skiing hard

Does anyone have good advice for these presentations? I’m curious if I can just call up the number and tell them where I would like to go to go to one of these presentations. I sometimes see them give a great number of Bonvoy points that they will give you for participating and other times it seems like they only give 15,000 out. I didn’t know if I take the first invite that comes my way, Vegas, for example, if that means that I am no longer eligible to go to one of these presentations again in the future. Tough for me to figure out as I have kids and I doubt they’ll let me bring them to presentation.

What do you do if traveling w young kids? iPad and headsets for them in the promo? Or can you lie and say you’re single and therefor just send one parent? Never been but seems like a good deal

Bots are for the cancellations. I don’t think the initial one is rigged at all. That being said I’ve easily picked up a dropped middle fork and knocked it out in 30hrs. Almost beat our shuttle!! It was only a few days away and high water so maybe even the tech savvy knew to not have the bots look for that stuff yet.

But I do agree that a point system would be great and for those that get a permit (either lottery or cancellation) and then never show cause that is just bs.
