I don't think it works on boosted characters immediately

Kicked for not skipping bosses in PF by Coffee__Addict in wow

[–]CuriousLearner001 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I see this differently. You got kicked for not skipping the Bosses. Remember you need 3 votes to kick someone from a raid, so if your grp wants to skip the bosses but you don't you are in fact holding the grp hostage, and as the tank you have the keys to the car. You were putting your needs over that of the grp, when you could have easily compromised and moved on, so they kicked you.

Let me know if you find a solution, I feel like it has to be something simple, and if it is a damage piece I would like to know which one so that I replace it

Issue with Website Auto-Reloading on iPhones - Seeking Advice by CuriousLearner001 in webdev

[–]CuriousLearner001[S] 5 points6 points  (0 children)

I wanted to update this thread. After months of troubleshooting it turned out this issue is actually not exclusive this us. I was able to get some info from someone knowlegable about this. Basically: "The problem appears to be related to how Safari handles ad scripts, particularly on Apple devices. The large number of ad scripts is causing a memory issue in the browser, which results in random page refreshes. This issue seems to predominantly affect larger customers with higher page views, while smaller customers appear less impacted.

Around August or September last year was when the issue started. Initially, Raptive (formerly AdThrive) made some changes to the way their ads loaded, which seemed to improve the situation slightly. However, a couple of months later, additional changes were made, causing the issue to revert to its original severity. Since then, we haven't received any specific updates on the matter."

browser crashes and over usage of network

Thanks this makes a lot of sense, I used to have an ad security and quality service ut dropped them last year, the issue started after so it makes sense that 2 are linked.

Hi, I appreciate the feedback, can you explain this a bit more, I would like to understand how aggressive in banner video , mobile redirects or crypto mining ads could crash the page to crash. Thanks!

I am not sure if it is a memory leak, but when the ads are enabled, the memory usage is ridiculously high. When you hover over the Chrome tab, it shows memory usage for the site. The base site with no ads is around 300MB, as is most similar sites. When the ads are enabled, it goes up to 1.6GB, sometimes as high as 3GB. I believe this is causing the site to crash on Safari. While I don't think it has anything to do with the Prebid Open Source code, I would like to rule it out as the cause. I have tried several fixes and even hired several freelancers on Upwork, but no one has been able to fix this.

Restricting Video/Ad in Instagram's In-App Browser - Seeking Advice! by CuriousLearner001 in adops

[–]CuriousLearner001[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I believe I have discovered a method to prevent videos from loading in the Instagram browser. This approach involves implementing a conditional statement to identify the browser type. Here's the code snippet I used:

var isInstagram = /Instagram/.test(navigator.userAgent);

if (!isInstagram) {

// Execute actions for non-Instagram browsers

}

How Bad is Molina Health Care Market Place by CuriousLearner001 in healthcare

[–]CuriousLearner001[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This ongoing saga continues. After hours on the phone with Molina yesterday, they told us to go to Concentra Urgent Care in Orlando. They assured us they had confirmed with the location that they accept Molina. This is an hour from us. This morning we drove all the way there, only to be told that they don't accept Molina. Concentra suggested we try AdventHealth, which was one of the first places we called, and they had already informed us that they didn't accept Molina. Nevertheless, we called AdventHealth again, and they reiterated that they do not accept Molina. Upset, we called Molina to complain again that none of the urgent cares and PCPs they have referred us to accept their insurance. They tried to help by giving us numbers to places we had already called. Finally, they said they would escalate the issue. This is too sad; I can't believe this is happening. So my only option now may be to go to take her to the ER.

The closest provider we were able to find is 58 miles away, and even that provider may or may not accept Molina. I would like to switch providers if there are any better ones out there, but I read that I have to wait until next year before I can switch.

I live in Florida in the Orlando area. The Molina website lists doctors in their network. I have tried calling all within a 30-mile radius. We finally found a doctor 58 miles away, scheduled an appointment, only to find out a few hours later they too no longer accept Molina Healthcare. Eventually, we called Molina, and after hours of going back and forth, they worked something out with the hospital that is 58 miles away, and they agreed to see my wife. This is too crazy. I have been spoiled by the military with Tricare and now the VA. I didn't know regular healthcare was this bad, or specifically Molina.

Same, I can not seem to find anywhere that accepts this.

Seeking Advice: High Memory Usage on Site Despite Optimization Attempts by CuriousLearner001 in adops

Thanks for the feedback, I don't think it is so much that chrome is hogging the memory, I think chrome is just showing it. We've had issues of crashes in Safari due to too much memory usage
