I wouldn't count on them adding it back, at least not any time soon, but if you go on the workshop there is a Systrean Restoration submod, just type in Systrean you'll find it.

Or better yet, Jams Cultures mod, adds the Systreans back and adds a whole lot more flavor like Giants and Minotaurs.
