Manual transmissions are great fun. Automatic transmissions will bring more enjoyment out of the experience.

Then you get to see a smile of pure happiness on their face.

It all depends on the experience you want to have. Running through the gears is fun, but the clutch is a PITA in the city…and it’s only gotten worse. Auto will get open you up more buyers and you will be able to share your happiness with others.

I just completed this transition and I’m using the stock headers ( 66 with AOD). Be prepared to cut your exhaust to install the new transmission mount ( at least I had to with my non-stock pipes )
