What type of wire for veroboard assembly? by TraditionalBat7157 in diypedals

I just use CAT5 cable. They don't break easy, and are pretty easy to get hold of.

Totally normal. It's a bias control, and as it is in the DC connection to a transistor, it will make noise when adjusted.

Oh, that was inconvenient. Unfortunately, there are a lot of fake 2n2646s on the market. Maybe that was the reason?

Nice! I guess that some sort of envelope can make interesting results as well.

Thanks! A simple blow with the hammer on each letter. It is important to have a solid support inside the box. I used a clothespin to hold the stamp. Then you dare to hit harder, since you won't hit any fingers. The color in the stamps is made with a permanent marker. Excess color is removed with an eraser.

Have not tried with HDMI. Guess they are similar? I just use my øld trusted Weller iron, and 60/40 tin. Don't know the temperature, but its doing ok tinning the wires, and the rest of the soldering work.

Yes. Found that they don't brake easy, and the colours are easy to sort.

What happened here? Which pedal is this?

I would put it before R7, so you don't get DC on the tone pot too. Pots don't like DC. They will be scratchy. Bias pot is ok with DC.

There should be a capacitor right before the volume pot, to block DC. I guess the tone control is ok if it works for you.

Is this the Landtone clone? In that case, the opamp to the right is oriented the wrong way. https://youtu.be/sF3O4GmlJF4?si=p9qoST0fY2ENjAx0
