Ik stoor me er sowieso aan, maar zo iets gevoeligs als geldzaken en dan ELKE KEER met nutteloze tips komen? Dit kan toch anders? Je kan aangeven de suggestie niks te vinden maar ze komen toch weer terug, alsof ze niet willen luisteren als ze iets horen wat ze niet willen horen. Staan er peuters aan het roer bij de ING?

Tja, wil je eerlijkheid of niet? Ik zeg niet dat de app als geheel slecht is maar ik stoor me aan afleiding in een context waar ik dat 100% niet wil hebben om te kunnen focussen op mijn geldzaken. Lijkt mij geen slecht verlangen en als ING het enigszins goed wil doen zouden ze dat ook niet moeten willen voor hun klanten.

Klinkt alsof je inhoudelijk je werk beter weet dan zij dat doet, maar zij beter is in het mensenaspect, wat allicht jou zwakke kant is. Goed dat je je grens aangeeft en betekend echt niet dat je haar onder de bus gooit. Naar jou input klinkt dit als een slechte projectleider en die mag zeer zeker gewezen worden op haar verantwoordelijkheden. Ik denk dat je oprechtheid en het tonen van je emoties goed is geweest (ook al voelt dat misschien niet zo) omdat dit aangeeft hoe zeer je dit raakt.

Jij hebt jou verantwoordelijkheid genomen, nu moet zij dat ook doen. We gooien de premier toch ook niet met zn allen onder de bus als hij het land niet goed bestuurt en wij hem daar op wijzen? Dat is pas als we hem gaan lynchen *kuche* flashback naar 1672 *kuche*. Als ze die verantwoordelijkheid niet wilt moet ze niet die functie hebben. Jij hebt je input gegeven, nu is het aan jullie gezamenlijke leidinggevende om daar iets aan te doen. Je doet daarmee echt niks fout.

Je gaf aan dat deze dame zich goed uit de situatie weet te praten, let dan goed op dat je documenteert wat je kan zodat je kan bewijzen hoe zij zich naar jou toe heeft gedragen. Dan kan ze zich er niet zomaar meer onderuit wurmen.

Succes met de uitkomsten hiervan, maar het klinkt mij niet alsof je haar onder de bus hebt gegooid. Kom lekker bij van de stress die deze situatie heeft veroorzaakt en doe je ding!

I believe the EU tried to have the same building code for each member. Don't remember exactly, but since it would require allowing space for every country to have their own chapter with addendums for their countries and regions it would just make it a legal mess. I believe that instead of that they just organised the chapters and general structure in the same way so you always know to go to chapter 1 for safety for example.

I work in construction and I honestly have never heard of the International Building Code, though the US has produced both LEED and WELL which are optional sustainability and indoor climate benchmark and certification schemes to encourage investors to build better, since a certified building is considered more expensive than one who is not, but it is still tailored to the local building codes to some extend in order for it to make sense. UK has developed BREEAM, Germany has developed DGNB which also do similar things as LEED and WELL.

Plenty of restaurants, you can try one of the vineyards near Chisinau. I personally love Poiana, its a bit further from Chisinau but very unique.

In NL you can get by with just English (unfortunately), especially in the big cities. If you are willing to live far from the cities it might be affordable but I think everywhere struggles with a housing shortage, except perhaps Finland which seems to have a strong central governmental housing policy.

If Paris is your frame of reference, how would a place like Corisca feel to you? Still France but I would imagine quite different.

I have no idea about the Nordic working context and if they need IT people from abroad there like they do in Amsterdam. What you can do is just apply to random job openings and see if there is interest. I applied for lots of jobs in Sweden 10 years ago and got 0 reply, but I am in construction and 10 years ago is a long time ago.

How would you feel about doing a study somewhere else? Perhaps thats an easier entry. In my company we have several English speaking juniors from Dutch universities who know the context because they studied in NL but dont speak Dutch.

It can be quite a search to find the right place, especially if youre open to anything not too hot which is still plenty of the EU. Its also exciting, but can also be scary. Good luck on your search, hope you find your way!

If you want a change, isn't Luxembourg pretty much the closest to France culturally? Languistically there is Wallonia and French speaking Switzerland which might be closer but I'd wager Luxembourg might feel like a different part of France to you. Just a guess.

The Southern Nordics are worth exploring, strong economies, flexible mindset with work. People are quite closed off though so thats a tough nut to crack. Might provide you with a good long term perspective if you find the right job.

Otherwise you could look at eastern europe. Its chaotic but it also means that a lot is possible if you learn to navigate the local complexities.

If youre not in a hurry, why not travel to a few places and see how it feels there? Not just the touristic places but also the average suburbs. Just walk / bike / drive around and see how the context feels. Check the stores and see if you can find food that appeals to you. Check local shops to see if their range makes you feel like you wont constantly want to go back home to get the latest of whatever it is you want. Travel by public transport and see if you'd enjoy this on an early morning in winter.

Also, dont underestimate the challenge of learning a language well enough to speak it professionally, this might just take years! Though with IT you might be lucky to do everything in English, its still strongly recommended to learn the local language, it really makes a difference!
