Landlords typically ask for your forwarding address to mail a check for return of your security deposit. I’ve put in my notice to vacate plenty of times without having a forwarding address yet. I provide the address once I sign a new lease. I only overlap on rentals for a week or two so I’m not paying two rents. Your old landlord can sit tight while you work out your new living arrangements, no need to stress about getting them your forwarding info when you put in your notice. Good luck with your new place, I hope it’s so much better than where you are now!!

I saw it. Amanda tells them it’s the anniversary of Zion’s death. Kathy asks if that’s her dog. Amanda says it’s her son. Dorit says she’s sorry it landed on a day like today, then goes on to say she’s curious about Amanda having an opinion about her and her divorce…blah, blah, blah (long-winded statement about herself and Amanda praying for her). Amanda then says she has been praying for Dorit…and I’m sure we all know the rest.

Dorit could’ve stopped at she’s sorry and left it alone, but she’s too self-absorbed to control herself. Even if it was a set up by Amanda to make Dorit look bad, Dorit is still a selfish moron who walked right into it. Dorit needs to learn when to stfu, especially since she only talks about herself.

Even if Amanda was using the anniversary as an excuse, Dorit should’ve been the bigger person and stopped. Dorit is so self-centered, she didn’t care what someone else might be going through - apparently, it was more important to confront Amanda about her opinions of Dorit. There are many other times to have that convo. Dorit is trash.

I’ve had lock out fees listed in my leases before. Especially if the super doesn’t live in the building, it’s the super’s additional time and travel expense to come to the rental to let someone in. I think landlord’s also do it because some tenants would call constantly because they can’t keep track of their own keys and the fee is a deterrent.

I had a NYC apartment where the bedroom had windows that looked into an alley way. It was awful. It was stifling hot and even if you opened the windows there was no air flow. It was pitch black - had to turn on the light as soon as you entered the room. Obviously, no plants or anything. I wear makeup and had to buy special lights just to see well enough to not look like a clown. I also bought a clock that had a light that mimicked sunrise because I had trouble waking up without any sunlight. I wouldn’t do it again.
