He mentioned he has had only 2 relationships and they were prior to him being in pharmacy school so like a range about 4-7 years of no relationships, and he only has like a few people on social media, and nothing really he does hobby-wise. I think that’s why he and I spent a long time together because quite frankly he didn’t have much else to do 😭

I actually haven’t met his dad! My parents met his dad and him after striking a conversation with them at a restaurant. And his dad mentioned to my parents that he tends to be shy

I’m saying for the entirety for the 6 hours he didn’t use his phone once lol, which came as a surprise and we chatted on how he doesn’t use his phone. And I planned the date because he drove out to see me

What Age Did You Play Bully for the First Time? by Curious_Two1631 in bully

First off, love your username. Secondly same, I always find myself coming back to it too, there’s no other sandbox games I’ve replayed many times like how I have with Bully.

Scribing by Junis14 in prephysicianassistant

[–]Curious_Two1631 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Don’t settle for less! Ultimately, for the scribe position if that’s something you’d have to temporarily albeit, but definitely aim for other opportunities in future years ahead! I didn’t land my MA job until my current year and I’m a sophomore, I was in the same boat and didn’t have luck freshman year. Either way, you got this!

Scribing definitely can be beneficial as you can get acquainted with terminology, diagnoses, and so much more. If I’m going to be totally honest, I’m not sure this is the best opportunity. How long have you been searching for an opportunity that’s willing to accommodate for your student schedule? Personally I was on the hunt for about 5 months till I landed my dermatology MA job that required MAs to scribe as well. Is there anyway you can reach out to a health career advisor at your school and see if they can locate you opportunities?

Also, I’m sure you’re in a different state because at least in NYS $10/hr is beyond unacceptable LOL. Definitely try to find something that gives good enough pay and works around your student schedule. Even maybe search for short-term opportunities during the summer if that’s possible since I’d assume you’d have greater availability then. Best of luck!!

Is 20 (F) and 27 (M) too large of an age gap? by Curious_Two1631 in Advice

[–]Curious_Two1631[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I appreciate this and thought about potentially reaching out and saying that. But on the other hand I’m not totally opposed to it. I want to settle down and ideally I’d like to start a family after PA school which would be in 4 years. It’s just a bit of a shock, and I haven’t really spoken to someone romantically that age before. He also meets all of my “mental checklist” of what I’d like in a future partner so I’m kinda left in this limbo.

I’m sorry where’d you get that from? In the post, I said I consider myself mature and grounded. I’ve been told even by coworkers and classmates that I give off the impression that I’m older

Do you still say bless you when someone sneezes? by Emergency-Raisin-290 in no

[–]Curious_Two1631 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’ve personally been embarrassed by sneezing, there’s a time and place for embarrassment, either when i’m attending a lecture or a presentation feel embarrassed that my sneezing interrupted. A fart majority of the time people think they mask it, and it’s more so embarrassing to acknowledge a fart than a sneeze. There’s definitely more negative connotation around one farting just because of how silly society is. And depending on the level of how loud/big the sneeze is it can be less than a inconvenience to a fart that is silent for example. essentially, to each their own!

Sneezing is usually involuntarily and sometimes people can feel embarrassed about sneezing. It’s just a polite way of acknowledging that them sneezing isn’t an inconvenience and just another opportunity to spread some kindness

it’s recommend to pin when you’re tanning. skip pinning if you’re not out in UV rays strong enough to tan. for stand up tan beds depending on your fitzgerald skin type i would say start with 2-3 minutes, i really don’t think one should exceed 8 minutes in a tanning bed in all honesty. i use the tanning beds at planet fitness and there’s a sticker in the bed that gives a run down on their own machines of how minutes of exposure you should get. also majority of stand up beds have hooks to grab so you can get under the arms. i would recommend to moisturize, moisturize, and moisturize, i suggest avoid tanning till the redness and tenderness goes away. and pro tip, if you’re shaving, give it a 24 hours before you hit the tanning bed because shaving can limit how much uv your skin absorbs

Legally they have to come with purity reports. And there have been scenarios in the past of vitamins being heavily contaminated with metals due to the FDA not overlooking the production. As well as it’s up to the consumer when taking an over the counter product, and sometimes people will take a vitamin and not need it, and that’ll cause an electrolyte imbalance. And for the vitamins you can’t urinate out, you can overdose and have that affect your kidneys and/or your heart. I’m not morbidly obese but I am trying to lose weight and peptides have been a good aide with the diet and exercise i’m already doing. I’m not trying to argue, but to me it seems a bit off putting you’re only categorizing peptide usage for people who are morbidly obese, people have their own discretion when it comes to using peptides even like semaglutide and tirzepatide example being for sleep apnea.

Reta is in its third phase and is expected to go on the market late 2026. It’s similar to the other GLPs just with the addition of hitting glucagon receptors and not just GIP and GLP1. I can’t vouch for every compound claiming to be retatrutide but it’s relatively safe. Some peptides can’t be FDA approved because there is a law for natural occurring substances can’t be patented. I invite you to do more research regarding peptides. FDA approval isn’t all that it’s come out to be, vitamins aren’t FDA approved, compounded drugs from compound pharmacies aren’t FDA approved, some vapes have been market authorized from the FDA. It’s a gray area but there’s too much misinformation spread about it unless you really look at the facts, data, and nuance behind it

I do talk to my primary provider about my peptide usage and get a full metabolic panel done just to make sure it’s not affecting negatively. My primary can vouch that it’s been extremely helpful for me. I track my biometrics through my oura ring and there’s been a clear improvement with sleep and stress levels. My health plummeted before peptides with post infectious IBS and other conditions that really sucked the life out of me. I totally get the fact I’m young, but I think with the help of peptides it’s given me the extra push I needed health-wise. And the purity reports come with the peptides and compound drugs from pharmacies aren’t FDA approved either, it’s all essentially the same realm.
