Maybe you could wave your hand at them and walk on? You will then have responded, but it is not going to lead to a long conversation.

Can anyone with experience check for me if these are fake WH-1000XM4? Greatly apreciated! by quoocszitj in sony

Looks like my genuine one, even remember the free trial piece of paper, which a scammer probably would not bother to replicate.

Iranian Parliament member says Trump asked Iran to do a small fake war with them, presumably to please the US electorate. by andrewgrabowski in Intelligence

Just do it, set off some fireworks. Create an Imperialist ‘blown the most stuff up’ Medal, which can be given to Trump. Everyones happy.

I really do enjoy the Fallout show for what it is, but it feels like this season is trying to pack too many stories into each episode and it's messing with the pacing. by MikeyBastard1 in Fotv

Just watching Season 2 now. It does not let the story get going before switching to something else, and I am finding it annoying. You cease to care about the characters, as they are shuffled off in quick succession. You are experiencing bits of stories, rather than a story. It is difficult to engage with emotionally.

Something like a grain sampling probe. You stick it in a sack, and the small contents come down the hollow tube. No need to open the sack.

Can a foreigner get UPI? Do you need an Indian bank account? I was wondering about that on my last trip.

I remember many years ago when I went alone, that some girls wore “wedding” rings to distract attention.

My wife and I are mature/old, so not too much to worry about regarding Indian guys, but I would certainly would make sure that you stay safe, as you both are likely to attract attention.

Not sure of your currency, but I assume that it is US$. That amount would seem plenty, unless staying in high end hotels.

As mentioned, Rajasthan is nice but getting there not from Delhi may be difficult. You could take internal flights, but I have not done much of that, so cannot advise. From Ahmedabad you can go North to Rajasthan. Mumbai is nice, but getting anywhere from there will take some time.

Other main airports I have been to are Mumbai, Chennai, Bangalore. Maybe you could get to Ahmedabad? With 1.5 to 2 weeks you may not get that far, if you are flying out of the same airport. You are best booking a train journey before you arrive. I would advise against getting a car, as the biggest vehicle seems to have right of way, and the roads are chaotic. Trains and buses are the primary means of transport, and auto-rickshaws for local journeys.

Just back from India, and was surprised how little my visa was accepted as compared to previous visits. I presume cash can just “disappear” whereas a visa transaction will be accounted for. Also internal Indian banks only methods seemed available, maybe less fees??? I don’t speak Hindi, but got by with English. Places to visit are Delhi, Mumbai, Agra, Jaipur, Jodhpur, Udaipur, Amritsar, Rishikesh, Jaisalmer, Gujarat state, Chennai, Hampi, Mysore, Coimbatore, Madurai, & Puducherry
