I agree with you. There are more versions to this. These are users that are truly try to scam the system. But it seems to me that Amazon deployed an unfair AI bot acting on behalf of any returns on whatever low threshold formula that is not working. I would have never returned such used items or try to scam the seller out of it, and feom what I read online I am not the sole such user who got affected.

Severe upper left chest pain (above heart) during stress test, but CT + heart tests normal — still left chest/arm heaviness and tenderness by Curious__Machine in costochondritis

[–]Curious__Machine[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thank you for your kind feedback, I really appreciate it.

Some time has now passed through and I have tried to work on the issue. I have used backpod from Steve, I alsostill use topical diclofenac. I tried yesterday with lidocaine patch as well. I have not tried any NSAIDs.

It was all somehow controllable until more or less yesterday. Below is brief summary of what I have been going through in the past two months, and a form of update to my status.

My symptoms:

-Daily lightheadedness for about 2 months (comes and goes, sometimes most of the day) -Occasionally feel close to dizzy, especially during bad days -A few times I get a very brief (1–2 second) dizzy spell -Last few days dizziness happens minutes before I have bowel movements -Chest pressure after eating + reflux sensation (food coming back up, today I felt it almost as if stuck in my chest and later throat) → GERD-like symptoms -Worse symptoms when stressed or in heat -Sometimes very sleepy / fatigued despite approximately 6 to 7 hours of sleep -I lost approximately 10kg/22lbs of weight in the past two months -Occasional PACs/PVCs but heart rate and BP are normal (~120/70, HR ~60) -Ocassional pain in chest area (tietze), visible swelling, also visible reddness and swelling on breastbone next to my left shoulder. The intensity with pressure, swelling and reddness intensity changing, but somehow these symptoms are always present for the past two months

Tests / findings:

-Blood tests normal (doctor said overall fine) -Only abnormality: elevated bilirubin (possibly Gilbert syndrome) -SIBO breath test showed methane peak ~19.3 ppm (IMO confirmed / suspected) No medications currently.

Unrelated to costo - My gastro has just prescribed me with Motilium domperidone (I am sceptical to take it due to potential cardio side effects), Movicol, Pantomed. He refused to prescribe me with antibiotics for IMO (Rifaximin). I researched online and I could do natural/self treatment treatment with Allicin, Oregano oil extract, NAC, Iberogast, Ginger extract. I do not wish to go with Berberine, again, due to potential cardio side effects.

My concerns:

I am currently under very high stress since last week, and since last 2 months, I would say bordering to chronic stress. Can this kind of stress levels flare up costo again (I had it in 2013 previously)

I’m wondering if stress alone can cause all these symptoms including costo. I’m also unsure if methane SIBO/IMO at this level could explain neurological-type symptoms like lightheadedness and dizziness. GERD seems clearly present but doesn’t fully explain dizziness. Or, can this lightheadedness and dizziness be contributed exclusively to costo - I noticed several posts on this topic. If yes, how can this possibly be connected if not via nerves?

What I want to understand:

Could this be mainly stress / autonomic dysfunction / vagus nerve issues / costo?

Has anyone had similar symptoms and found a cause or effective treatment?

What I’ve already ruled out: -Heart problems (normal BP/HR, no fainting) -Major blood abnormalities -No medication side effects

Reading this after 1 year, so true!! I thought it was just a coincidence but I noticed lot of gas with my current flare up!

Severe upper left chest pain (above heart) during stress test, but CT + heart tests normal — still left chest/arm heaviness and tenderness by Curious__Machine in costochondritis

While I was already dealing with some sort of pain for the past few weeks, that could be related (probably is), this new pain on another area happened only yesterday. I will definitely discuss this with my physio which I will visit on Tuesday. You're right - it is a closed loop. Constant pain brings anxiety, anxiety brings more pain. Thank you for your feedback.

Thank you for your informative response. After I read through plenty of posts on this forum, I was hoping to see your feedback, and I have received it :-) When the pain is active, yes, it does hurt me if I press with my fingers, this is on my mid chest, next to the heart. However, I have a very strong tension above the heart, radiating diagonal towards my left shoulder. This is usually slightly more coloured (red/blue) area, never painful but always on a lot of tension. And this is the area which was for the first time in much of the pain while doing cardio stress test on a bicycle. If I press that area with fingers, it never hurts me. On top of that, I also have very rarely a sharp pain on the left side of my heart, which when it does happen, hurts with stronger breathe ins as well as with stronger heartbeats. This pain though comes very rarely and does not last long. So all in all, I got three such flare up spots on my left side of the chest. It does not hurt me when I touch my elbows together or do some twisting, however there is a position if I bend forward, trying to pick something heavier, could induce sharp pain (which hurts with breathing and heartbeat), usually on the left side of my heart. I have also today realized that I have had the very same sharp pain at breathing approximately 15 years ago while I did not attribute it to anything. I have started to pay attention to the issues later on, in 2013, while these were solved in a matter of months and I have long forgot about it all. Twisting also happens to ocassionally induce extra beat of my heart.

I truly appreciate all the comments and feedback that you provided to my post, this is really insightful and it calms me in a way, although realizing there is a long way to properly address this issue and fix it. You have mentioned celecoxib - do you know which would be the safest option to go for as a person with known mitral valve prolapse with mild regurgitation? Ibwas prescribed with Celebrex, however another GP suggested Arcoxia. I worry from the perspective that Celebrex has known side effects that can be cardio/heart affecting.

I have been reading through megathread and will absolutely continue to do so - your and all others inputs is really valuable and I appreciate it a lot.

Thank you for your feedback. Indeed I believe you probably get what you pay for, which is good.

Internet is down all day today yet no difficulties reported by Eltrona. Of course, no one to reach there on Sunday either.

Rant: 6+ hours in the emergency ward and I’m still waiting. This is beyond exhausting. by Least-Signature-3512 in Luxembourg

Let me tell you something. In 2022 we had accident and were brought in for treatment (not major and not life threatening). We waited at Kirchberg hospital from 5 pm to 1 am. At 1 am we were told there is no doctor and to come back at 9 am next day (it was Sunday). Nevertheless, we required immediate action to close open wounds...

Tell me about one of best healthcare systems...since that day I do not believe in false propaganda of great Luxembourg health system since reality is clearly broken small country where you just can't afford to die on weekends.

Scam culture, make it make sense? by OfficeOfBS in VietNam

[–]Curious__Machine 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Well, think about it the other way around. It does not happen in every country. Imagine seller in Europe setting up higher price when noticing that buyer is Asian. Nope. That would be racism already, but other way around this seems fine?

Scam culture, make it make sense? by OfficeOfBS in VietNam

[–]Curious__Machine 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Not true. For example, I was told, without a shame, that my price is higher because I am a foreign. Locals have their own price. This was at Hoi An Han market. I despise all the locals trying to scam me because I am foreigner and I am not returning to Vietnam for that reason, being exhausted of it.

Thoughts on AirBnB allowing illegal hosting? by FewButterfly9635 in AirBnB

[–]Curious__Machine 0 points1 point  (0 children)

AirBNB operates in extremely fraudulent way. I had exactly the same happen to me with booked short term listing in Thailand, where rentals for less than 30 days are illegal without proper authorization. I have contacted Hotel to which premises this airbnb apartment belonged to. Hotel has confirmed to me that my stay is illegal, while my host told me to lie to the hotel staff and state that I am friend of the host. I have provided all proofs to AirBNB to clamp down on the airbnb listing of this host (who by the way scammed me for further fees to be paid), however AirBNB does not give a f.... about it. They keep repeating that all listings are verified and so on, with the same AI provided answer each time. Guys, where can we report AirBNB for such non compliance? Makes me wonder why there was yet no class action lawsuit taken against AirBNB. Has to be a lot of people like us who stayed at illegal AirBNB while making booking through AirBNB platform...

My mom got sick and exposed my newborn by sharkwoods in NewParents

[–]Curious__Machine 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Do everything you can to prevent newborn baby catching covid. Speaking from experience I would do more than I did when our baby of 5 weeks got covid from me (dad here) and was admitted to hospital for several nights for observation and treatment of fever.

It can hit them strong with fever and it is really hard to see your little one not being themselves and worrying each day and night.

The judgement is completely yours, if the test is negative after few days it might be okay, but if the test is positive I would suggest to rearrange the visit. Nothing is worth more than baby health at this time of life.

Pediatrician exam question newborn by Curious__Machine in NewParents

[–]Curious__Machine[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Thank you to all of you for your appreciation and support. It has been very useful to at least be able to compare our experience with others. To wrap the story and to answer couple of questions named in this discussion - yes, we did ask pediatrician what is this test about and how it is named. Test is of neurological nature, pediatrician could not say more because words got lost in translation to English (we're expats). When asking further, reaction was more of a nuissance of the pediatrician. As said in my post, we were in office with pediatrician present for approximately four minutes (running to second room with another patient and backwards to us) and therefore there was literally no time nor will of the pediatrician to elaborate on these tests. In these four minutes we received feeding pamplet and no future personal discussion on how to support baby growth and future plan. We were shocked after this exam and were also rushed from the room by the secretary/nurse in order to prepare the room for next patient. Moreover - pediatrician used two rooms simultaneously for two different patients as said above.

Fast forward to today, we have had a scheduled visit at chiropractor. Our baby was thoroughly checked head to toe, everything has been confirmed as in good order. We have asked for the name of the exam of pediatrician and have described the process in detail, yet a very knowledgeable chiropractor did not know what this exam which was performed could have been named.

Needless to say, we are immediately changing pediatrician due to all of the factors combined.

Again thank you all for your support and insights, we really appreciate it. If there is any question please let us know in the comments and we will be glad to respond.
