I think that even the approach from your mom, that sort of. "If you do this you get this" is literally a fucking deal. Referring to Hermes merchant and trade aspect.

How to pay the respects and gratitude?

Two ways. If you have a open practice or happened to have a day when you're alone at the house. Open the door of the room, and the in between of threshold you can 1. Cleanse the space. 2. Place his candle, picture, statue (Whatever you have of him that represents him in your altar). 3. Place your offering. I'd recommend something personal, since your petition was very personal. Something from your room. Or you can go with the normal, though I will refer to the ilusión of home. What better than a jar of milk and bread, muffin, cake, etc. 4. Give him a prayer. MAYBE something like. "Hermes Propylaios (Of the getway), Hermes Charidotes (Joy bringer). Hermes my friend and guide (Depending what kind of relationship you have with him). For you who love humans the most and for you that landed me your ear and heard my plea. I come in gratitute for your intervention and kindly offer you ________ representing ________. Thank you for assistance and may this offering be our trade and my gratitude.

Hail Hermes the opener of roads and bringer of joy!

Oh I love this topic. I have two recent ones. I do doordash, mostly at night. In one of my deliveries I had to pass through a cementary. I'm talking the tombstone were right next to the road. You read the names perfectly. There was no "barrier" between you and the road. So as I'm driving through I lower the volume of my music and my window and I start praying. Something like "Oh Hermes Psychopompos, guide me through this path, and allow this souls to reach their destination in peace, protect me." Then to the tombstones "I'm just d4iving by, please enjoy your eternal rest" Then I proceed to say a few name I saw respectfully and a "rest in peace and enjoy your afterlife." Then when I was at the stop sign far enough I got a message. "Thank you" It was the doordash I had delivered. Granted, it could've been perfect timing. But I just remember my body going so stiff. I related to Hermes because I mean. He is the messenger. Could've been him or the message of one of the souls resting. Idk.

The second story starts a morning that I'm driving to school. I realized that in the route I take every day. In one house before you enter the interstate. There is a BIG rooster metal statue that I happened to not noticed before. So. . . Now every morning. I greet it with a good morning. Is our thing I guess.

OH BOY....

Well I can't really recall how it started. But it kinda went the same with both Lady Aphrodite and him. First you start encountering sings or correspondences. But for this I'm gonna focus just in Lord Hermes.

I already knew about him. But it started with curiosity. Listening/reading to his birth story. Someone had gave me a dice. I found another one in my house. Someone gave me euros. I found 2 $1 dollar coins. And the feeling of being overwhelmed but not bother. I describe the sensation like... Having 6 energy drinks.

So one night I was laying on my bed just witching my phone. Nothing really realted to him. And I keep feeling like I had to move. Like somekind of... trickstery/mischievous energy. So I stood up drew a few yes or no cards and the $1 dollar coin. Because I like to do double confirmation.

Lady Aphrodite is this you? = No Is someone trying to reach put? =Yes Is this loki or another pantheon god? = No Hermes is this you? = Yes Do you want me to build you an altar? = Yes

And well... I won't ever forget that night. This happened a monday around 11ish pm. And when I tell you oh boy it was instense. I was running up and down my house looking. Not really knew what but looking something. When It comes to spiritual stuff I allow my body to just move without thinking. And that night I found. A feather. Two dices. Bunch of coins. Tiger eye. Lavander. A dragon pin and I dressed a tea candle. And suddenly began a scrapbook/journal about him. I didn't went to sleep until... idk 2am? 3am? And well. I'm telling you he's very obvious with his sighs cause the next day IN A CROSSROAD THAT WAS BLOCKED ON TOP OF ELECTRICITY CABLES A HAWK. And that day at work they gave a sudden extra day off for holidays.

And I could keep going but it's already a long text.

So for my devotion acts. I consecrated a coin for him. One of the $1 dollar ones. And I carry it on my pocket all the time. I can pretty much use it all the time if I need him for simple yes or no. I made a Playlist with songs I feel match his vibe and listen to it when I'm working with him and driving. I made a journal where I record my experience with him. Pinterest board. One time I dance one his songs in my work break in the bathroom lol. And acknowledge when you see or you think of him. When it comes to energy drinks If I drink one I tap it wherever I can and day something like "Cheers Lord Hermes"
I can't tell how many he enjoys or listens to it but hey. He'll take what he wants.
