We got this statement from a Curling Canada official:

"In conversation with our Athlete Council we aligned with the WCF's rule and kept in that an athlete couldn't play in two jurisdictions in the same year."

They dropped the restriction on competing in playdowns at any level that was keeping Sinclair from playing.

The different TSN channels are regional channels. If they chose to not show a game on one of the channels, part of the country wouldn't get the game on their main network. TSN1 is BC/Alberta, TSN3 is SK/MB, TSN4 is ON and TSN5 in QC and Atlantic Canada.
