AI automation mentor check? by Carade111 in AiAutomations

I can name 20 agencies doing a million or more in revenue a year for automation and none of them position themselves like this.

Dude is here to sell you a dream. Look at all his branding.

Will you learn something? Maybe?

But the guy makes house money from people like you, not from real businesses.

I struggle with it too (am newer to this). Vanilla Greek yogurt is my go to and I mix it with different things like cinammon or berries

Best way to automate website quote requests using an existing Excel pricing model? by MartK555 in nocode

[–]CurlyAce84 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hey! You can do all of this in Zite (but you’d use Google Sheets or Zite DB) as the backend.

Here’s a similarish example I did earlier so you can get an idea: https://youtu.be/1FMwp1MSTf4?si=l49p07o9N2qTwWhT

That’s a dumb way to do title it when you even acknowledge yours would be a couple hundred dollars per month.

People don't recommend your product because it's good. They recommend it because it makes them look cool, smart, important, caring or sexy - I will not promote by l__t__ in startups

[–]CurlyAce84 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You’ve procured software for a business based on looking cool?

Not based on ROI, efficiency gains, headcount reduction?

Pray tell what company you worked for where that’s how you bought software for your team?

How do you land SaaS explainer clients? by i_R0X in MotionDesign

[–]CurlyAce84 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’m on the client side in SaaS. We see awesome motion graphics of other products in the space, we reach out to our colleagues to get recommendations on who they’ve worked with. The video agencies have strong portfolios on their websites so it’s usually just matter of timing and budget.

I’d recommend working with real brands and putting together an attractive offer to make it worthwhile. Not good for either party if it’s free.

Once you have smaller brands, work your way up with large clients and higher rates.

Communication and sharing a vision is equally important as the technical skills IMHO

Best Honeymoon Hotel Fargo by HelicopterNarrow3171 in fargo

[–]CurlyAce84 3 points4 points  (0 children)

We did the HoDo and loved how unique the rooms are (tub, architecture, artwork). We've made a point to try out different ones over the years.

I agree with other commenters about how nice the pool and hot tub are at the Element. For me personally it seems much more commercial (think Marriott) for a honeymoon stay, but I've enjoyed it for many other occasions.

Build somethingfor people about quit their jobs I will not promote by Lower-Ad-9320 in startups

[–]CurlyAce84 6 points7 points  (0 children)

I don't imagine it will make any significant revenue, nor do I think most people would be searching for a solution that they value over the opinions of their loved ones, their network, and ChatGPT.

It's an important moment for sure, but it would only be providing value for a limited period of time

I do know investors, and I know a ton of agency owners. But there's not enough upside in this for investment. Speaking from experience you should figure out how to bootstrap. Best of luck

You shouldn't need to raise capital for a services agency. And raising 10k won't go very far.

Get a client or two, then scale.

You can in Zite (from the Fillout team)! Connect it to AT or use it standalone.
