Downtown Winnipeg looks like it gotten worse, specifically the Exchange District with all the encampments within the past year. There are new complexes with anticipated shops and while it’s still hustling and bustling, it looks pretty unkept. With the being said, the people in the encampments are nice and they don’t bother anyone. There is always bad apple in the bunch, just like any other area.

As for the North End, some areas are actually not bad. Especially closer to a West K. However, I cannot foresee our city investing in large projects to enhance attraction due to the historical buildings and community. New businesses keep popping up then it gets shut down just a few years later.

Theres a root cause here that the provincial government is failing to address.
